All the family will love beef kofta, especially the kids when put in pita bread!


Ingredients (makes 20 Pieces)

  • 1 kg Mince beef
  • 2 Onion
  • 1/4 cup Parsley
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 Tbsp Cumin
  • 2 Tbsp Oregano

Method

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl with your hands.
  2. Take a small amount of mixture into the palm of your hands and make it into a finger.
  3. Cook on a frying pan turning every 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Serve with a salad or wrap in a Pita with salad. Yum.

I put them into pita bread with salad

  • Love this kind of food on the barbie. Recently watched SBS show and they said the secret is to put kofta on a metal skewer so they cook inside and not dry out. YUM
