Ingredients (makes 8 cookies)
- 4 Weet-Bix
- 2/3 cup Rolled Oats
- 1/2 cup Wholemeal Flour
- 2 sachets Nescafe Caramel Latte
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1/3 cup Almond Flakes
- 3 tbsp Butter/Nuttelex/Oil
- 2 tbsp Golden Syrup
- 1/4 cup Boiling Water
Method
- Crush Weet-Bix into a bowl, then add the rest of the dry ingredients (rolled oats, flour, latte sachets, brown sugar and almond flakes)
- Melt butter in the microwave at 10 second intervals, stirring in between to make sure it doesnt split.
- Add wet ingredients to the dry mixture (butter, golden syrup, boiling water) and mix well.
- Bake for 15 minutes @165C or until the edges are golden brown. Let rest for at least another 15 after cooking to ensure the middle is firm.
