Homemade egg and dairy free mince burgers. Easy to make for the whole family.

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 500 grams Minced Meat
  • 5 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 6 slices of Bread
  • 3 carrots
  • 2 Zucchinis
  • 4 pieces on pineapple
  • 2 Tomatoes

Method

  1. In a big bowl combine mince meat, grated carrot, grated zucchini, oregano, basil and wet the bread until soggy and mix it with the mince meat. Mix all together until mince is formed with all the other ingredients.
  2. Flatten burgers with a fork once all ingredients are combined and fry with some oil. Turn over when one side is brown.
  3. Add bread, pineapple, tomatoes or any bread fillings as desired. Enjoy!

Notes

I made this recipe because most pre cooked burgers contain egg as a binder. I have an egg allergy so I can now enjoy these in bread or rolls.

  • Had forgotten about using bread soaked in milk for making rissoles. A great used for stale bread.
