Great for a nutritious after school snack


Ingredients (serves 1)

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large banana, mashed
  • 1 tablespoon saunders malt extract
  • 2 scoops icecream
  • nutmeg to serve (optional)

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients using a blender.
  2. Top with grated nutmeg to serve. (Optional)

Notes

You can try this with different fruit like mixed berries, to see what you like most.

  • Never heard of Saunders malt extract but ill have a look for it. Maybe I could substitute Milo?

  • you wouldn’t need to mash the banana, the blender does that


    • Yes that is true but for people that don’t have blenders mashing is great too.
