Great variety of choices when choosing toppings


Ingredients (makes 1 Pizza)

  • 1 flour tortilla
  • 2 tablespoons herb and garlic tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon finely sliced onion
  • 1/2 cup grated pizza cheese
  • FOR TOMATO, CAPSICUM, MUSHROOM & PINEAPPLE
  • 3 cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 small red capsicum, seeded, finely sliced
  • 1/2 cup pineapple pieces
  • 1 medium mushroom, finely sliced
  • FOR CHICKEN & MUSHROOM
  • 1/2 cup shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 medium mushroom, finely chooped
  • FOR HAM & PINEAPPLE
  • 1 slice ham, chopped
  • 1/2 cup pineapple pieces

Method

  1. Preheat oven to very hot, 220C. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Place the tortilla on the prepared tray and spread with tomato paste.
  2. Sprinkle tortilla with onion, then cover with toppings of your choice, finishing with the cheese.
  3. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until pizza base is crisp and cheese is golden. Serve cut into wedges.

Notes

Tip - You could also use sliced baguette, pastry rounds or small pita pockets as the base for your pizza.
