Ingredients

  • Bread sticks
  • Proscuitto
  • Salami
  • Meditereanan olives
  • Cherry boccocini cheese
  • Stuffed peppers
  • Artichokes
  • Small wheel of hard cheese
  • Sun dried tomatoes
  • Dried chilli flakes
  • Parmesan cheese finely grated

Method

  1. Start with a large platter (wooden board or flat serving platter), and make sure the surface is clean and dry. We recommend using the Vileda Microfibre Cloths.
  2. Wrap bread sticks with prosciutto. Place in a pile on the platter.
  3. Curl your salami and prosciutto into flower shapes and place together on your board.
  4. Find a small bowl and place on the board. Fill with olives.
  5. Place bocconcini cheese balls close to the cold meats and olives.
  6. Place a few stuffed peppers onto the platter.
  7. Place the artichokes next to the stuffed peppers, ensuring all ingredients are close and touching one another.
  8. Add a wheel of hard cheese to the board.
  9. Place a handful of sun dried tomatoes.
  10. Top the bocconcini cheese with dried chilli flakes.
  11. Use mint leaves as a garnish, and place in a few corners on the board.
  12. Sprinkle some parmesan cheese on top.

  • What a helpful guide! I love a good platter but usually get stuck on what to include and how to display it. I love the prosciutto slash bread sticks combo! SO creative and they present so well. As a huge parmesan lover I also love the idea to dust with it, so smart and yummy!

  • This is a terrific reference guide, my antipasto platters always end up looking like a dogs breakfast. I’ve saved this article to hopefully recreate something more visually appealing. The checkerboard brownie platter is great too, another to add to my must try list.

  • Beautiful as this looks I think it would be more of a challenge to do something that looks as appetizing and pretty that was vegetarian, and another that was dairy-free , and another vegan.
Yes, yes, i know you are going to say ‘substitute the salami for X’ but why not go the extra mile and do some different options from the get go?
