Avène XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Cleansing Oil is to be used as a cleansing product on children suffering from very dry skin. The product helps to soothe itching sensations caused by skin dryness and provides 24h hydration*.

What’s in the soothing formula?

The XeraCalm A.D Cleansing Oil formula was created using a minimum number of ingredients.

A very gentle soap free cleansing base cleanses the skin and protects it against the drying effects of water.

The I-Modulia complex: A result of 12 years of scientific development. It reduces itching sensations and soothes redness caused by skin dryness.

Cer-Omega: Lipids which resemble those found in the skin, they help to repair, nourish and strengthen the skin’s protective film, giving the skin better resistance against external aggressions.

How do I use Avène XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Cleansing Oil?

Use morning or evening, in the shower, lather onto wet hands before applying to the skin. In the bath, pour the equivalent of 5 pumps into bath water while filling the tub. Rinse thoroughly and gently pat dry.

    Such a quality product. It only took 1 week to see a big difference to my baby's skin, everywhere! His skin is remarkably smoother to touch and he is less irradiated, especially on his legs.   • Nourishing and hydrating

    I really loved using this cleansing oil on my toddler and myself. My daughter gets little bumps on her skin and it really seemed to help with that. It was also very nourishing on my very dry skin. Packaging was also good, the pump bottle made it easy to use. Would recommend!

  • During flare-ups, this oil makes bub comfortable and cheerful!

    We have been using this cleansing oil for a couple of weeks and we can already see the difference in our baby’s skin. She has eczema-prone skin and I was initially wary of putting stuff on her skin for fear of making her flare-ups worse. However, whenever we use this cleansing oil, I notice how it gently cleanses my baby’s skin without further stripping its natural oils; leaves her skin soft and supple; and most importantly, makes her comfortable by reducing her skin’s itchiness and soothing its redness.

    It’s amazing how, during flare-ups, she goes from being irritable to cheerful after using this!I further read about the I-Modulia complex and saw the more than decades’ worth of hard work that went into developing it - no wonder this cleansing oil works remarkably well for sensitive skin!

    Apart from being great at dissolving impurities but still leaving the skin nourished, I like the tear-free formula which is equally important for me. Thank you so much for letting us try this wonderful cleansing oil - we simply cannot wait to try other products from the range.

    After a couple of washes with this cleansing oil I noticed such a great affect it had on my sons skin. My son suffers from dry skin a lot and this really helped him. I definitely recommend to all mothers with babies who suffer from dry skin. Will definitely buy again.

    I’ve been using the Avene cleansing oil on my daughter and have noticed a reduction in her dry patches especially behind her knees and elbows. I don’t usually use a wash on her face but thought I’d give this a go. Overall her skin is softer and she doesn’t seem to be itching like she used to. I would recommend this product to others.

  • No more dry itchy skin

    I am very happy that finally I found the product that works on my daughter and husband. I have noticed the change after the first use. My daughter and husband has a very dry skin and even after using very good body wash and moisturiser they still get dry itchy skin but thankfully this product has done a great job. Sometimes I add the product on bath and it works perfectly fine.

    Suitable for very dry, itchy & eczema prone skin is a real plus and suits all family members. A very gentle fragrance-free oil (although I think adding a scent would be a bonus) that helps nourish the different skin styles to prevent dryness.Leaves skin feeling fresh, soft, less irritated and no tightness felt after oil is rinsed off.

  • Very impressed

    My little man has sensitive skin and everything seems to dry his skin out BUT not Avène XeraCalm! We noticed a difference after the first wash. There was no dry, flakey and most importantly itchy skin after washing with this. After a week of using it we noticed how hydrated and smooth our little man’s skin was becoming!   • Less irritation than normal soaps and washes

    Used this by pumping in the bath for my 2 year old. I noticed that where he usually flairs up on his inner arms, was no longer red. I feel like my sons skin was softer after using this both pumped into the bath and as a wash. Happy with this product overall and would use again.

    Avene Xeracalm replenishing cleansing oil really is amazing and significantly reduced and soothes itching sensation and redness for my son. It feels luxurious and so very gentle on the skin.     I love this product. My daughters are not fans of bath time but this has made washing a lot more pleasant without stinging their eyes. With the added bonus of soft silky skin. I would definitely recommend this product.

  • Loving the results, just after first use!

    Great product, Just after one use my sons dry scalp has come up not dry after the first wash. I’m hoping it continues like this over the next few days, this would be a game changer if it does!! We have tried most products for wash and after wash moisturiser and just struggle with the dry scalp.

  • Tried it before and it’s definitely one of the better companies to do surveys with. They make it so easy, the website is easy to navigate and the surveys are generally not too long. It’s easy to do whilst on the couch or filling in time! Definitely worth checking out to earn some extra cash.

  • Purkle is fun! Not a lot to earn from but if you like filling up surveys or voicing ypir opinions, it is definitely worth a try. Sometimes there are survey on music which are the most fun ones and also, these are the ones that reward the most. Not bad to earn a gift card or 2 in a year!

  • I love Purkle. While the surveys don’t award massive sums, the surveys themselves are never long. Other platforms want a minimum of 10 minutes which can be hard to commit to during day time chaos. It doesn’t take long to accumulate a decent sum, and I use gift cards as a way to treat myself. They can be redeemed for grocery gift cards. I’ve cashed out over $200 in a year and a half. Give it a go!

I tried to sign up for it and it just wasn’t working so I emailed them and didn’t hear back, I just tried again now and managed to create an account but then the activation email contained no link to click and actually activate my account. From the comments here it looks like I’m not missing anything anyway

  • I’ve earnt a bit through Purkle and other survey sites. They are great passive income. I don’t mind that Purkle pays in gift cards as it provides a great opportunity for me to buy something for myself as opposed to putting cash away for expenses. But cash is always good!

  • Surveys have been great to keep me awake while feeding my newborn at night but I agree with some of the comments that the time commitment is too high for the benefit. I do not believe i will continue using it once baby starts to sleep through and get through feeds quicker.

  • I tried Purkle for approx 1 year and quite frankly it’s really not worth your time
    Very few surveys and very low amounts paid
    Worst thing is it only pays in gift cards so no cash
    I gave up and just stuck with my original survey site that I’ve been using for years
    It makes me $120 average in PayPal a week without too much effort and supplies the family with an annual holiday without touching the household budget

  • It’s a shame I’m already a member and can’t enter the competition. Surveys in general – including Purkle – can be a good way to earn some money, but just remember you won’t earn much from any one survey. It does add up over time though, and isn’t particularly difficult to do.

  • This is a nice way to earn a bit extra money but you won’t earn a lot. Some surveys time out too which is annoying or hey just stop working half way through. If you have spare time and want to do it then why not. I sometimes do these on the train on my way to work and it slowly builds up to allow you to get a reward. It all helps.

  • I joined Purkle ages ago but to be honest I have never used it and totally forgot that I joined let alone that I could be earning money and points while being at home. Any opportunity to make some money and try to help financially, off I go to rejoin I think!

  • I have joined up and hope to gain some bonuses. I realise it won’t be a lot but it’s good to know from genuine people on here that have been part of purkle that it is a real site. So many scams out there so good to know this isn’t one of them.

  • Purkle is a great surveys site. I’ve redeemed vouchers from there. You’re not going to make a fortune from it but you do definitely earn for your time. I haven’t done any for a while as I just haven’t had rhe time but I’ll definitely get back into it. The vouchers always come in handy.

  • The inner sceptic in me will prevent me signing up! I’m not against a survey, however I would rather do one here and there when I can with the incentive of winning something big! Even a $100 voucher. At the rate I win, it works out better than signing up for this.
