I first washed it with warm water and quickly sprayed the easy off bam grease cleaner. Let it sit for 5 mins And then scrubbed it with a moist cloth. Highly recommended for all kitchens and all greasy stuff.

I had to do this review. I had literally 4 minutes before I went out of the kitchen to get ready for work. And at the same time I could not bear to see the little grease marks on the top cupboard of the gas. I quickly sprayed the Easy-off bam grease cleaner on the laminate cupboard and wipe cleaned it to a sparkling clean cupboard.. all in 3.5 minutes. Yay so happy that I could clean so quickly.

I really am so delighted to have be chosen to review Bam Easy Off Kitchen Grease and Sparkle Power Cleaner because I love to try out new household products; particularly cleaning products. The bottle is so easy to identify in the cleaning cupboard; the packaging is vibrant and distinctive. The bottle is easy to use and the spray works well, good coverage of surfaces. Loved this in my kitchen. It did wonders on the stove tops, which had pasta sauce practically baked into them, and it sorted out the oven door in no time (which is a job I’d been avoiding for aaaages). It barely needed any scrubbing. One thing I found was that the spray out of the bottle is quite powerful. If you spray from too far back it ‘s like a jet, and if you spray from too close it splatters everywhere. It takes some getting used to. Worth it for the result though.

I kept buying the cheaper versions of Easy-off bam but found they made my stainless steel start rusting as you had to leave it on for a while.
This stuff has helped clean off the rust stains and now help clean the stove top in just a few mins. Worth spending a little extra for a better product!

This wasn’t on our shopping list but we grabbed a bottle to try, bit of an impulse buy really. But one of the best ones! We have a cupple of stains from the kids and cupple of really baked on things on the sink and bench. Even a little bit of super glue I had spilled on the sink! I sprayed a little of this, let it sit for a minute or 2 to really soak in and a little elbow grease with with it, it came right off! One of the best impulse buys I’ve ever done. And it lastes for ages coz you don’t need much for it really work!

Not much elbow grease needed with bam so good at cutting right through the grease, a easy wipe makes cleaning as easy as can be, gone are the days were you need to keep scrubbing away at tough grease and grime marks. I used paper towel to start then a wet cloth nicely tidied everything up.

All really good tips. I’m a big believer in not letting them sit in wet nappies for long. Even the most absorbent nappies are resting against their delicate skin and need changing. I’m also a big sudocrem fan. A thin layer applied to irritated skin does wonders. It’s natural for them to have nappy irritations but we can only do our best to avoid it
Really terrific advice. My daughter never had much in the way of nappy rash develop and I believe that because I did change her so frequently and we had a lot of nappy free time, especially in the warmer months of summer. Sure there is things to treat nappy rash but we all know prevention is best!

I had issues with my son pooping a lot as a newborn. Sometimes it can be really hard to keep the rash at bay if you have a child that is constantly doing that. There is some acidity in the excrement and that can cause burning before it’s even been against their skin for long. I used to use paw paw cream on him and that worked best as a barrier.

It can become more challenging when your child has diarrhea; in which case bare bum time becomes more complex and the skin more irritated in which the gentle washing with warm water, patting dry with a soft cotton flannel and good zinc cream is more important
Even though I agree that prevention is key, I also think it’s important to have a good barrier cream to hand to help at the first signs of trouble. There are lots of good brands, you can pick any really that suits your baby’s skin. But use it liberally when you need it!

But yes, i do swear by changing their nappies as soon as it’s soiled. It’s what worked for us for both children! We always go prepared and change either before going out, during or in the car boot if we really had to
Nappy rash is horrible and prevention is definately better than cure. This is a fantastic article with some great tips. Especially the changing of the nappy frequently. Unfortunately sometimes especially once they’re on solids and their poops get yucky a little nappy rash can be unavoidable in which case a small amount of sudocreme clears it up quickly.
We found that changing nappies frequently was key for us. And once the kids starting sleeping for long periods at night, we started using the really good quality nappies – Huggies, as it happens – while cheaper nappies were still okay for the day and frequent changes. Nappies do vary! .
This is a really great reminder that nappy rash can happen but there are some great tips to help try and avoid it. I use to do a lot of nappy free time with my daughter when we were home as she had sensitive skin and I layered the barrier cream on all the time, especially at night.
