Further to my review below, the FoodSaver Controlled Multi Seal Vacuum Sealer has been well received in our household. I've enjoyed using it over the last 3 weeks. Items I've stored in the pantry are now no longer stale and as fresh as the day I opened it. Food kept in the freezer I know now will not be freezer burnt and just store well. I went and bought a bulk pack of chicken on special and divided them, vacuumed sealed and stored in the freezer. If I can save money thats an amazing bonus. I’ve been lucky to be selected to trial the FoodSaver Controlled Multi Seal Vacuum Sealer and have been extremely happy with it. I’ve always been curious on how they worked and made your food last longer. The unit itself looks good and doesn’t take up too much room on your bench.
The FoodSaver Controlled Multi Seal Vacuum Sealer has a number of different food storing options which is brilliant. You have the vacuum sealer roll, snap lock zipper bags and FoodSaver containers. Personally I love the zipper bags and FoodSaver containers as this is a much better option for the environment and can be reused over and over again.
Looking at the product I was a little overwhelmed but trust me, it was super easy to use. It has 5 food settings depending on what you are trying to vacuum seal. For example if you are sealing something that is soft and you don’t want to crush it you would use the pulse mode which allows you to manually start and stop the vacuum process.
The vacuum sealer can be used to store food in the freezer, fridge and pantry. Some of the items I vacuumed sealed were, chicken thigh fillets, dried apricots, celery, lemon and bacon to name a few. I really liked using the attached built-in removable accessory hose which retracted into the unit itself. Using this I was able to vacuum seal the reusable zipper bags and FoodSaver containers. When using the vacuum sealer rolls you are able to cut to the size needed and the roll is stored inside the unit itself.
The cost of fresh food is expensive so using the FoodSaver Controlled Multi Seal Vacuum Sealer I know that my food is going to last longer. In the couple of weeks of using the system I did notice food that I had vacuum sealed was fresher for longer.
Overall the FoodSaver Controlled Multi Seal Vacuum Sealer is a kitchen dream. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Love love love this machine. It saves me so much time, money and brain power thinking of what to cook for dinner. Meal prep is quick and breezy. We have far less good wastage. The machine is incredibly easy to use. And with its multiple uses I highly recommend this product for every house hold. The vacuum containers are amazing too. If I'm not using them for marinating or storing left over cooked foods in the fridge, I can use them to store dry ingredients in the cupboard such as rice, oats, or cookies!

This food saver is an absolute life saver in the kitchen!! It has saved so much time money and food wastage in my home. I love how easy it is to use, and there is even a hand held option to suck the air out of ziplock bags. I been able to save money though buying in bulk which also eliminates food wastage. I love all the functions and such easy use of the Food Saver! Prepped egg and bacon cheese muffins for the week, in the fridge and they were kept so fresh!
I love the cutter bar it has to chop bags into the sizes you want.
I also used it for sous vide and unlike other vacuum sealers, it doesn’t make a big mess when sealing wet foods.

I honestly can’t believe I’ve lived without a Food Saver Vacuum Sealer up until this point. I often buy meats in bulk or on sale and freeze it in little sandwich bags, in return the meat has freezer burn, is iced and doesn’t taste as fresh. We also buy traditional cured meats, which are a. Expensive and b. already vacuum sealed but once we open it, it’s sometimes takes weeks to finish and by that point it isn’t as fresh but with a vacuum seal, we’ll be able to keep it fresh for longer by pre-portioning it before hand. I love the FoodSaver as it keeps my items packed really well in the freezer which reduces the formation of crystals and freezer burn. My food is fresher for longer. The zipper bags are super easy to write on also and I find this really useful for freezing as I can write the product, weight and date on it ie 1 kg beef mince, 5 July 23. Now more than ever there is a strong need to be able to stock up & store food. Inflation is hitting everyone\'s wallets hard and food prices have increased exponentially!
That’s why I have been buying food in bulk when items are on special then vacuum sealing them for future meals using my new Food Saver Controlled Multi Seal Vacuum Sealer. I have also been able to prep my meals ahead of time, vac seal them, freeze, defrost then eat. Which saves so much time and as a single mum I need all the help I can get. I have loved using our new food saver vacuum sealing system. I like to shop in bulk but struggle to keep everything fresh. The sealing system made it so easy to divide the food up when I get home from the shops and kept it fresh for so much longer than I expected. It took a couple of tries to figure out exactly how much of the roll I needed each time but now I am so quick at it! It’s just so easy to use. We love the vacuum setting for meats too.

Love love love this machine. It saves me so much time, money and brain power thinking of what to cook for dinner. Meal prep is quick and breezy. We have far less good wastage. The machine is incredibly easy to use. And with its multiple uses I highly recommend this product for every house hold. The vacuum containers are amazing too. If I'm not using them for marinating or storing left over cooked foods in the fridge, I can use them to store dry ingredients in the cupboard such as rice, oats, or cookies!

This food saver is an absolute life saver in the kitchen!! It has saved so much time money and food wastage in my home. I love how easy it is to use, and there is even a hand held option to suck the air out of ziplock bags. I been able to save money though buying in bulk which also eliminates food wastage. Iv been able to vacuum seep my coffee beans which has kept them fresher for longer. Would highly recommend this product!

I can’t decide what I like best about this! The ability to fast track marinating as I ALWAYS forget, bulk buying and divvying it up to save money, saving ziplock bags when I bake school goodies without freezer burn, or making meal pre easy for hubby. A great product and highly recommended!

I love all the functions and such easy use of the Food Saver! Prepped egg and bacon cheese muffins for the week, in the fridge and they were kept so fresh!
I love the cutter bar it has to chop bags into the sizes you want.
I also used it for sous vide and unlike other vacuum sealers, it doesn’t make a big mess when sealing wet foods.

Received my FoodSaver this week! Absolutely loved it! Easy to use and the FoodSaver vacuum sealed my food so quick. Loved that I could marinate my meats in the vacuum seal bags. Which also meant more room in the fridge to stack the vacuum sealed bags instead of containers and no leakage. Food stayed fresh longer and the meats marinated so evenly. I also found didn’t need to use food clips on any bags that were open as I sealed them closed using FoodSaver. I’ll be using this product a lot, as I’m a busy working mum of 3 and this means I can prep my food ahead and buy my meats for the week knowing they will stay fresh:) No more wastage!!!!!

Great article! Our kids are so lucky, when it comes to lunchboxes, they really are spoilt for choice. There are so many to pick from. Regarding sandwiches, my eldest son, used to hate sandwiches for school lunches. It wasn’t until many years later that I discovered that he’d throw out his sandwiches in the playground bins. My son’s an adult now and he still hates sandwiches. He only likes “hot” lunches. So glad he lives on his own now and can make his own “hot” lunches just the way he likes them.

Wow, lunch boxes have really come such a long way from when I was taking a lunch box to school. Feel old, like “back in my day”, but we were lucky to have options like are available now. While I like some of these designs, I feel like they aren’t super practical.
These lunchboxes are beautiful but are they really worth the expensive price tag? I have been through so many lunch boxes and bags over the years and found the best it to use an insulated lunchbox bag with ice brick and use small containers to keep individual items fresh and assessable.
I love the bbox lunch boxes. They are so reliable and tough when kids throw their bags around. Easy to wash and store. I have used the we can be tiny snackies at home too. The boys love choosing a certain animal shape. They wash well, are durable and great quality.
My kids are old enough now to pack their own lunches and I am so happy to see the great choices they are making. They take left over meals, cook food in the morning to take and now I am confident they aren’t throwing away sandwiches! I do have the chilly bags for them, I find they fit better into bags
My daughter uses a bento box now for work and sometimes an insulated bag in summer, but when she was at school it was a rectangular lunch box with no compartments. It was very easy to wash each day, just the box and lid, and it could still be filled with rolls/sandwiches and snacks.
Lunchboxes are so important these days. Back in my day it was a brown paper bag or the exact same lunch box that everyone else had and there were three compartments. Today its such a fashion statement and as much as the lunchbox itself is judged so are the contents.

The FoodSaver Controlled Multi Seal Vacuum Sealer has a number of different food storing options which is brilliant. You have the vacuum sealer roll, snap lock zipper bags and FoodSaver containers. Personally I love the zipper bags and FoodSaver containers as this is a much better option for the environment and can be reused over and over again.
Looking at the product I was a little overwhelmed but trust me, it was super easy to use. It has 5 food settings depending on what you are trying to vacuum seal. For example if you are sealing something that is soft and you don’t want to crush it you would use the pulse mode which allows you to manually start and stop the vacuum process.
The vacuum sealer can be used to store food in the freezer, fridge and pantry. Some of the items I vacuumed sealed were, chicken thigh fillets, dried apricots, celery, lemon and bacon to name a few. I really liked using the attached built-in removable accessory hose which retracted into the unit itself. Using this I was able to vacuum seal the reusable zipper bags and FoodSaver containers. When using the vacuum sealer rolls you are able to cut to the size needed and the roll is stored inside the unit itself.
The cost of fresh food is expensive so using the FoodSaver Controlled Multi Seal Vacuum Sealer I know that my food is going to last longer. In the couple of weeks of using the system I did notice food that I had vacuum sealed was fresher for longer.
Overall the FoodSaver Controlled Multi Seal Vacuum Sealer is a kitchen dream. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

This product is a must have!!
That’s why I have been buying food in bulk when items are on special then vacuum sealing them for future meals using my new Food Saver Controlled Multi Seal Vacuum Sealer. I have also been able to prep my meals ahead of time, vac seal them, freeze, defrost then eat. Which saves so much time and as a single mum I need all the help I can get. It’s super handy for saving leftovers and keeps them super fresh in the fridge, meaning less wastage. Another great reason why I love it is that it prevents freezer burn & it keeps my food fresh in the freezer for way way longer. In fact, the shelf life of many foods is up to FIVE times longer than with regular storage methods and if freezer storage instructions states that food could last up to three months, expect vac seals foods to possibly last up to a year!!!

For example if you are sealing something that is soft and you don’t want to crush it you would use the pulse mode which allows you to manually start and stop the vacuum process.
The vacuum sealer can be used to store food in the freezer, fridge and pantry. Some of the items I vacuumed sealed were, chicken thigh fillets, dried apricots, celery, lemon and bacon to name a few. I really liked using the attached built-in removable accessory hose which retracted into the unit itself. Using this I was able to vacuum seal the reusable zipper bags and FoodSaver containers. When using the vacuum sealer rolls you are able to cut to the size needed and the roll is stored inside the unit itself.
The cost of fresh food is expensive so using the FoodSaver Controlled Multi Seal Vacuum Sealer I know that my food is going to last longer. In the couple of weeks of using the system I did notice food that I had vacuum sealed was fresher for longer.
Overall the FoodSaver Controlled Multi Seal Vacuum Sealer is a kitchen dream. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

I love the cutter bar it has to chop bags into the sizes you want.
I also used it for sous vide and unlike other vacuum sealers, it doesn’t make a big mess when sealing wet foods.
