Our shower is, in a word, terrible. We are actually in the process of replacing it because we can’t get mold to go away but since that is a still a little while off I needed to find something that I could use to keep the shower clean and usable in the meantime and I’ve found that with Mr Muscle Easy Gel. I use a brush to scrub the gel all around the shower and then it just rinses off with minimal scrubbing, it’s amazing what a different this stuff makes. And, there is no discernible smell, which is a blessing in a small bathroom.
I would highly recommend this to anyone who has tried everything else because you’ll be pleased with house easy and fast acting it is.

A fabulous product which leaves my home sparkling!
This Gel cleaner definitely helps combat soap scum and stains and leaves my whole house gleaming and is so incredibly effective. The gel with micro-beads really doesn’t leave any visible residue and I don’t need to wipe over the area I have cleaned with a cloth as there are no streaks. I have tackled the top of the stove with this over the weekend and I am extremely satisfied. Its truly magic with those little beads and is one of the most impressive cleaning gels I have ever come across. I have cleaned the benches in the kitchen, the bathroom vanity, the stove top, my bedroom wall unit which was full of residue makeup, the toilet and the toilet bowl with the toilet brush, the shower.. and it really delivered great results in all areas. To be honest, I found this product to be rather lacking in the muscle department…Sure, it cleans, but it doesn’t really ‘cut through’ the grime like I expected it to. Mr Muscle was always a brand name when I was a kid, but now it seems to have fallen through the cracks a little bit. My house is a pre-war bungalow, but surely something that promises to clean grime, should clean grime? Don’t get me wrong… It is a cleaning product, and it does clean. If you have minimal grease or soap scum to cut through, it’s probably your man. But if you have a tougher job in mind, I’d recommend Dettol mould remover or foam cleaner. 🙂

This product is quite easy to use and has the added bonus of no harsh chemical fumes.
Don’t go put it on expecting it to clean off absolutely everything and be show home beautiful first time. If you want that you will need to do a few applications. This product was the best my shower has looked after one application of any product. Highly recommend.

I’ve used many different bathroom cleaning products over the years. None of them were easy to use and they usually have a very potent smell. Mr Muscle Gel Bathroom Cleaner not only smells pleasant, it is also amazing on soap scum. It’s very easy to use and because it’s a gel, you don’t have to use a lot of the product like some spray and foam bathroom cleaners. The glass in my shower was crystal clear after using this product. The tiles were shiny and so was the toilet bowl. The chrome mixers in our showers & bathroom sinks came up super shiny too! It was so easy to pour some on a wet cloth and just wipe. No scrubbing needed! I would highly recommend this product.

I have to admit, if it wasn’t for MOM’s I wouldn’t try half the products I have and Mr Muscle Easy Gel Bathroom Cleaner is one of those.
What do I like about this product? I like that it seems to offer a deeper clean, penetrating those areas with built up grime and scum. I like that it’s easy to apply, with not to much scrubbing required. It has a pleasant smell that is not at all overpowering.
A good, quality product at a reasonably affordable price.

I’ve been rather unwell recently, hence cleaning my shower has not been on my radar. Hubby took pity on me and on top of so many other chores, cleaned the bathroom also. These comments are of his opinion: “Is this the right stuff to use on the shower? Smells alright. So I just rub it on and hose it off? Well that’s simple. I found Mr Muscle Easy Gel Bathroom Cleaner removed all the grime and built up soap scum without having to use to much elbow grease, as a bathroom cleaner it is very effective.

Mr muscle products are the bomb! This one is great the small isn’t too bad that u choke but still has the clean house smell! Being in a gel form I found this to be awesome compared to some other products on on the market! Again I would reccomend everyone give the one a go at some stage

Mr Muscle is effective and no harsh odours so it’s safe for all within the household. It’s not expensive and easy to use I’d defiantly try it out. I use other Mr Muscle products and they are effective so I’m sure this product will be another on my list.
I applied to be a reviewer of this product however wasnt picked so I decided I’d go out and try it myself anyway. Usually we use standard bleach in the bathroom which really stinks the house out, so this was a welcome change. I have been using this product for a while now but I have came upon a problem. I have the orange gel with the little black/dark blue micro-beads, when I apply this gel and wipe over my tiles then rinse off, I have noticed that occasionally I get a spot or two of blue dye on the grout. The blue dye is from the micro-beads (if you actually squish one dark blue dye will appear) this dye is really very hard to remove and defeats the purpose of this product. I have tried ringing this company many times and keep getting a voice message to leave your message and they will get back to you. Well I did leave a message and after a week I still had not heard from them. I emailed all the details and finally received a reply and I am still waiting for the follow up. This company has very poor customer relations and at present I am not happy with them. They have not helped, given a reasonable answer or put the customer first at all.

Mums Reveal Their Fail-Safe Nappy Rash Tips

We asked our hundreds of thousands of Mouths of Mums members for their tried-and-true, trusted nappy rash tips, and their responses came down to four key tips. So if you’re about to have your first baby, or your fifth, it’s worth popping on the kettle and reading through what’s helped other mums.
Fail-Safe Nappy Rash Tips From Mums

1. Nappy Free Time
“As much free nappy time as possible. Lay baby on a blanket covered with a towel on the floor, without a nappy on, if possible in front of a warm sunny window.” – Joanne W.

Dry, clean and comfy makes for a happy baby. And remembering that a baby’s skin is so very delicate, so it’s good to be picky about what you put on or near their skin. Enjoy your sweet babies!
All really good tips. I’m a big believer in not letting them sit in wet nappies for long. Even the most absorbent nappies are resting against their delicate skin and need changing. I’m also a big sudocrem fan. A thin layer applied to irritated skin does wonders. It’s natural for them to have nappy irritations but we can only do our best to avoid it
Really terrific advice. My daughter never had much in the way of nappy rash develop and I believe that because I did change her so frequently and we had a lot of nappy free time, especially in the warmer months of summer. Sure there is things to treat nappy rash but we all know prevention is best!

I had issues with my son pooping a lot as a newborn. Sometimes it can be really hard to keep the rash at bay if you have a child that is constantly doing that. There is some acidity in the excrement and that can cause burning before it’s even been against their skin for long. I used to use paw paw cream on him and that worked best as a barrier.
Nappy Rash can be so raw and painful and i always worried so much when our babies had a bout of it. I remember trying so many things but always found good old petroleum jelly used regularly would help in keeping it at bay. There are some great suggestions in the article.

Even though I agree that prevention is key, I also think it’s important to have a good barrier cream to hand to help at the first signs of trouble. There are lots of good brands, you can pick any really that suits your baby’s skin. But use it liberally when you need it!

But yes, i do swear by changing their nappies as soon as it’s soiled. It’s what worked for us for both children! We always go prepared and change either before going out, during or in the car boot if we really had to
Nappy rash is horrible and prevention is definately better than cure. This is a fantastic article with some great tips. Especially the changing of the nappy frequently. Unfortunately sometimes especially once they’re on solids and their poops get yucky a little nappy rash can be unavoidable in which case a small amount of sudocreme clears it up quickly.
We found that changing nappies frequently was key for us. And once the kids starting sleeping for long periods at night, we started using the really good quality nappies – Huggies, as it happens – while cheaper nappies were still okay for the day and frequent changes. Nappies do vary! .
This is a really great reminder that nappy rash can happen but there are some great tips to help try and avoid it. I use to do a lot of nappy free time with my daughter when we were home as she had sensitive skin and I layered the barrier cream on all the time, especially at night.
