  • Efficient, comfortable, quiet and so easy!

    I would definitely recommend the New Beginnings Breast Pump to anyone and everyone!! It was sooo easy!!! I was able to connect it all up and because it was so quiet, I was able to express while sitting there watching tv. The different levels of stimulation and suction were great as I was able to customise it depending on when I expressed (whether it was close after breastfeeding or much later). I loved the function of the time as I was able to gain an idea of how long it would take me to express a certain amount of milk. I also loved that it was a double as I could express a large amount of milk in very little time! The New Beginnings Breast Pump was also very easy to clean and reassemble afterwards. The stands for the bottles were also very handy as it meant no spilt milk! ???? I loved everything about the New Beginnings Breast Pump and I found it to be no comparison to another manual breast pump I have previously used. I would hands down recommend New Beginnings as my first choice electric breast pump!

    Don’t let looks deceive you! Although the box and contents seem tiny in comparison to other brands, this little device is extremely powerful, yet extremely gentle and super quiet!

  • Great design for pumping on the go

    At some point in almost every breastfeeding mums journey you will find youself wanting or needing to pump milk.
    For the last 3 weeks my littlest man has been ill and losing weight which is concerning as he’s only 6 weeks old. I’ve needed to express so that I could monitor how much he was drinking and to give him a bit of a rest by drinking from a bottle and letting the pump do the hard work on the boob instead.
    All of this has meant my New Beginnings double electric breast pump has received quite a work out.
    I love that it is a complete kit and comes with the pump plus all the bottles and teats you need. The only thing that would make it more perfect would be if it came with a travel case.
    Upon unboxing I had a moment of thinking the pump was missing it’s most important part, the motor! However I soon found it and was amazed at how tiny it was!
    Assembly was really simple and I was soon set up ready to go.
    I love that the pump is battery operated with an easy to use USB recharging cable.
    I started the pump in stimulation mode as instructed. I gradually moved up the suction levels. Unfortunately this mode stops at level 5 suction which was still a little to gentle to initiate my let down. I decided to try the extraction mode and very quickly the milk started to flow. So don’t despair if the stimulation mode isn’t strong enough for you because the extraction mode goes up to level 9 which will give even the most vigorous feeding baby a run for it’s money.
    Once I got the best modes for me figured out the milk was quickly extracted and within 20mins I had drained both sides.
    The pump is quiet enough that I can use it next to my sleeping baby without disturbing him.
    The size is deceptive as this small pump packs a punch and is the perfect companion for any breastfeeding mama.

  • Little life saver!

    This breast pump has saved my sanity! It’s small size, minimal noise and incredible functions has allowed me to build up a freezer stash that using my old electric pump was little more than some wishful thinking. After trialing this pump for a few weeks now I have managed to consistently express enough milk to not have to worry about having Dad and his useless nipples stay home with the kids! I love the let down mode to get the milk flowing and that I can swap back to the let down mode from the expressing mode as needed to give it a boost. I believe this is what has led to being able to successfully pump this time around, whereas I had to put my first on formula when I went out as no matter what I tried, I just couldn’t respond to that pump at all. Thank you so much New Beginnings! I will be recommending this pump to all new mums!

    The New Beginnings Electric Breast Pump has given me SO much FREEDOM!

    Whether it’s the freedom to express and leave my baby with my hubby or the freedom to express whilst on the move, it’s given me the FREEDOM to nurture my baby with my milk no matter where I am!

    It fits so perfectly into my handbag that I am able to take it with me anywhere, and I can even charge it in the car!

    Long drives are easier because I can express whilst my hubby is driving so that the baby has a warm feed on the journey without having to stop and even short drives are perfect because expressing is so fast that I’ve got a big feed of warm milk to use when we reach our destination and my baby becomes unsettled, without having to pop in to a feeding room whilst out and about, and anything that saves time is a MASSIVE win!!!

  • No more unexpected milk showers!

    The difference is AMAZING!!!

    I didn’t realise how much easier (and more pleasant for my baby) breastfeeding could be until I started using this awesome pump!!!

    Usually for feeds my breasts are exploding with milk, so when my baby latches he gets an absolute gush of milk sprayed all over his face, which is unpleasant for him and an extra challenge for me to try and get him latched back on.

    Now all I have to do is express some milk prior to feeding and he isn’t left with an explosion of milk in his face!

    I really do love it, and I’m certain he loves having more relaxed feeds, it’s just fantastic!!!

  • One small step for tech, one GIANT LEAP for Women’s Empowerment

    Don’t let looks deceive you, I kid you not, this gorgeous little device although no heavier than your mobile, is jam packed with amazing technology!!!

    It’s incredibly easy to charge, set up, use as well as clean- it’s super quiet so I can pump even during night feeds

    The BEST bit however is how it makes me feel!!! The FREEDOM- not just to be able to have my baby looked after by someone else with the peace of mind that he will still be nourished with my breastmilk BUT I can physically accomplish SO much more

    I can express milk before exercising so that my breasts don’t ache during a workout

    I can express milk to ease discomfort when my baby sleeps for longer than usual rather than trying to get him to “dream feed” to ease my heaviness from being too full

  • I absoultly love this new pump

    I currently own a very popular double portable breast pump which i purchased online after i did tons of review reading to decide this was the best one for me to purchase.
    To be honest i only ever pump one side at a time because i usually feed on the other side.
    Now after recieving the new beginnings single breast pump ive tested and used it a few times im totally in love with it…
    Its so soft and gentle to use thru the night i dont wake bubba or the husband up,
    Its compact light and easy to use,
    I love where i place my breast it has a silicon pad which makes it more comfortable for me when im using the pump instead of the hard plastic that goes against my skin.
    Also it has a circlar base where i can place the bottle on the table which i find great so it doesnt tip over which sometimes happens to my current one at night when im just getting myself out of bed to take the milk to the kitchen.
    It came with two bottles a small one and a taller one which also feels very strong and studry bubba doesnt seem to have a problem using the teets from these bottles.
    I cant find a fault and i love this pump so much more than my current one im using.

  • Pumping doesn't have to be painful!

    I purchased the New Beginnings double pump while pregnant and having used the Medela brand in hospital with a reasonable amount of discomfort and varied success I wasn’t looking forward to my at-home pumping routine.
    I’m happy to say that my fear and hesitation was misplaced! The New beginnings pump is easy to use, gentle on your breasts and nipples, and pleasantly effective as milk extraction regardless of whether you are using it as a single or double pump.
    With the added bonus of the pump motor being portable (it fits in a robe pocket), it makes tending to baby while pumping much easier.

    This breast pump is super compact yet very powerful. I love how it is a battery pack in 1 just charge it and go and counts how long you’ve pumped for! I managed to express a very large amount in a very small amount of time which is what a busy mum needs.     So when I first tried this breast pump, I didn’t realise the battery was rechargeable so I had it plugged into my laptop whilst I sat there pumping, once I knew that I moved myself outside where I could let my other child play outside whilst keeping my ears open to the younger one. It was nice being outside in the sunshine, I almost go crazy from being indoors.

    I still haven’t worked out how to use the stand though. It still doesn’t click in.

  • Loving the pump more as time goes on

    It’s been 3 weeks since I first got my mitts on the New Beginnings Single Electric Breast Pump which I thought was fantastic from its first use. But as time goes on it just gets better. At the moment I use the pump about 4 times per day. In my first video review I wasn’t using the lanyard that comes with the pump, but now I definitely am! The lanyard attaches to the small but powerful motor and when worn around my neck frees up my hands to do other mum things which is a total
    time saver. I used the pump at play group last Tuesday and every mum there was so envious of the pocket rockets size, quiteness and portability. I’m so glad that New Beginnings breast pumps have hit the market for use by all Aussie breastfeeding, committed & super busy but so deserving mums.

  • I wish I had this pump with my other babies.

    I have had the pleasure of owning this pump for a short time and I am very impressed. It is super quiet, very, very gentle and most of all very effective. I have used other pumps previously and found them to be much less comfortable with less ‘output’. I highly recommend this to breastfeeding Mums to purchase for themselves or as a baby gift purchase for first time Mums to be. It’s gentle, effective and so easy to use. Great, portable size as well.

  • No more ripping off my nips!

    I always dread the initial start up of an electric breast pump, one day I think my nips will actually be ripped off.. but with new beginnings double pump there is no more being nervous beginning a pump session it’s extremely gentle and comfortable.
    The battery life isn’t as long as some pumps I have used but it charges quickly.
    I quite like this pump and would recommend to my mum friends

  • Perfect for travel

    Currently on a holiday without the baby and this pump has been amazing for travel from Townsville to Sydney. I could use on the go and it is quite compact to carry in my small backpack around the city and through airports. I was greatful I didnt need to find a power point and could use the charged power during the day.

  • Wow so comfortable

    Wow I loved this pump so lightweight and super easy to use.

    I love that I could adjust the strength of let down setting as previously I have used other pumps that do not let you do this the just had the one settling.

    I used the pump without the comfort cushion and found it to be very comfortable. In fact I didn’t even try with the comfort cushion.

    I was super engorged at 11pm one night as my 14 week old did a huge stretch in her sleep and was able to pump 150mls in 5 minutes from one breast instant relief. So fast!

    I love how portable it is always so easy to pack and take with me when I need it.

    Also my daughter had decided to refuse the avent natural bottles I had and the shape of the teat on the new beginnings bottle was different and she took to it really easily.

    Highly recommend this pump! So much in such a small pump.

    As a mum of twins with a manual breast pump, this beauty saved me so much time and head ache.     I loved using this pump! I usually dread pumping but I enjoyed using this pump and finally seeing some milk build up! I loved the bottle sizes too. Especially as I used them after skipping a feed so they seemed to fill up quite quickly!

  • Efficient and super easy to use!

    I had my baby 12 weeks ago and have been a little lazy on pumping. Bubs is definitely a boobie monster, and being my third baby in 4 years, it’s hard to find time to pump. I love how compact it came and the packaging was great. Super easy to wash and get ready for a first time use. I love that it is portable and rechargeable with a usb! I even charged it in the car. Really handy with the next strap and the battery lasted a long time.
    I can only compare with my spectra S2, and to me, they are on par with each other. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.
    The machine is fairly quiet. The pumping motion hurt a tad at first but I’m not sure if that’s because I haven’t pumped much, or I’m just used to the S2. Overall very happy with the product.

  • I have been a purchaser of Sandhurst goods ever since they first appeared on supermarket shelves and still buy it to this day. The Sandhurst brand is the best without a doubt. This year I have not been able to find the Sandhurst cheese stuffed baby capsicums anywhere. I have tried to get on the Sandhurst site, but no luck with what they make. Help – these are such a wonderful addition to a salad.

  • I Love a good charcuterie board. I Love all the different options all on the one board. I love to do a chocolate board when we have guests over, it’s a fun way to do dessert after dinner. The kids love seeing everything layed out so they can pick and choose.

  • Charcuterie boards are the absolute best! We do these so often in the warmer months because there’s something for the whole family. People pick and choose what they like and there’s no complaints because there’s so many different options to choose from, everyone is happy. It’s such a simple stressful way to make dinner.

  • I absolutely adore finger food and this style of feeding people when we have family and friends at our home; or when we go out for a picnic, bbq or get together. These types of food are so easy to source and to buy and to prepare and to happily eat.

    • Yes I agree, finger foods are easy and yummie ! And you can assemble a healthy enough plate (certainly when you add salads, cheeses, nuts, fruits, boiled eggs, olives and rustic breads) that it can certainly can replace a meal (either lunch or dinner). Everyone happy and no hours of preparation in the kitchen :)

      • Also; the other bonus is less mess to clean up when cutlery is not needed. Finger food is the best for laid back and relaxed get togethers. There is always such a clam and relaxed feel to a finger food meal without the need for any fancy and stuffy table settings.

  • I love the looks of different finger foods. I don’t think it is hard to put something together and I had many afternoons hanging out with many mums and all the children at the Cul the sac we then lived. At times I had 8 mums coming with over 40 kids. Many sweet memories indeed
