I tried this sponge out on my pots and pans after dinner. I had tried my normal sponge scourer and when it just wasn’t doing the job I gave the oats sponge scourer a go and it was super easy. It got the baked on grease off the pans and left no scratches.

Anti-bacterial sponge scours make washing up a Little Less stubborn
Oates anti bacterial sponge scour are a great effective must have for every kitchen. The scouring pad on the back of the sponge makes cleaning that stubborn food off the pots and dishes a breeze without the damage of scratches. They are not so abrasive and scrubs gently but effectively. Also great for the kitchen benches, oven and bathroom. Makes the washing up and removing soap scum from bathrooms so much easier and shinier. Although my sponge scour pack of 3 did have one pad with manufacturing defect (some of green scour pad missing) but still didn’t effect the cleaning lol

The yellow sponge and green scourer are a staple in most households and Ive had my fair share of them. These are great quality and last more than a few uses while retaining their shape and scouring ability. Fantastic for a wide range of jobs around the home and got my roasting dishes looking great again while minimal effort.

The Oates Anti-Bacterial Sponge Scourer is heaven sent. It has anti-bacterial properties so it’s very safe to use on my bub’s plates, cups and utensils. The scourer side is quite tough on removing stubborn, dry grimes on my dishes and pans while the sponge side is very absorbent especially when I’m cleaning the kitchen sink, dining table, stove top.

I love these sponges. I have been using the for months and wont be going back. They have a clean, sterile smell to them when the pack is opened which is satisfying. They are also strong and last really well. I find a lot of scourers wear away quickly and start peeling and deteriorating in the water. These haven’t done that before thet have reached bin time!

Love this scourer sponge! Such a versatile all-rounder!. Once the grout brush has gone over it’s designated lines the scourer sponge comes in on the action and wipes away the dirt and grime swiftly. The Oates Heavy Duty Scour’n’sponge is great for getting rid of tough stains on most surfaces. Long lasting, antibacterial, and so easy to use. However I didn’t test on my saucepans and frypans incase the scour scratched them. I usually buy non-scratch scours for this job.

I’ve never had sponges that have lasted as long as these Oates sponge scourers. We use them every day and they are still full, spongey and close to their original colour. Usually, they go flat, brown and smelly, but these are almost like new. I’m guessing a lot of that has to do with the anti-bacterial properties. Will buy again and would recommend to others.

Its a good product – however, I am unable to use it for the kitchen as its not scratch proof.
That’s the only downside. If Oates makes one that is scratch proof – Yippee!

I normally purchase homebrand scrourers due to price however this product really stands out from its cheaper counterparts. Does the job it’s designed for with ease and wsshes up well sfter use. It’s also flexible and squeezes down so you can clean smallee items not just large.

by far the best sponges I’ve used supertuff on all the food baked on and soft enough not to leave scratches and even better that they are antibacterial I also have one in the bathroom to use in there I won’t use any other product anymore only these from now on these are 100% recommended by my family and definitely worth a go

I had a few non stick pans that were getting a bit old, but still worked. There was some baked on bits that just wouldn’t come off with our other sponge or brush but this sponge got it off and they look almost new now

One thing you do need to ditch when it comes to nappy rash is mum guilt. It happens despite our best efforts. But it is helpful if you can get ahead of the game by doing as much as you can to try and prevent nappy rash in the first place.
We asked our hundreds of thousands of Mouths of Mums members for their tried-and-true, trusted nappy rash tips, and their responses came down to four key tips. So if you’re about to have your first baby, or your fifth, it’s worth popping on the kettle and reading through what’s helped other mums.

1. Nappy Free Time

I had issues with my son pooping a lot as a newborn. Sometimes it can be really hard to keep the rash at bay if you have a child that is constantly doing that. There is some acidity in the excrement and that can cause burning before it’s even been against their skin for long. I used to use paw paw cream on him and that worked best as a barrier.
Nappy Rash can be so raw and painful and i always worried so much when our babies had a bout of it. I remember trying so many things but always found good old petroleum jelly used regularly would help in keeping it at bay. There are some great suggestions in the article.
I did find that not all nappy rash creams are as good as each other. After trialing many brands I settled on Sudocrem as the best for me and my baby. Changing nappies frequently and air time is also very important.
There are so many common sense tip in this article and they are tips that we followed. We kept everything as natural as possible on very soft and sensitive skin. We went with plenty of nappy free times and we were very fortunate to not encounter issues with nappy rash.
This article describes very much what we always have done: frequent nappy changes, plenty of bare bum time, no fragrances also not in soaps and a good nappy rash cream. It can become more challenging when your child has diarrhea; in which case bare bum time becomes more complex and the skin more irritated in which the gentle washing with warm water, patting dry with a soft cotton flannel and good zinc cream is more important
Even though I agree that prevention is key, I also think it’s important to have a good barrier cream to hand to help at the first signs of trouble. There are lots of good brands, you can pick any really that suits your baby’s skin. But use it liberally when you need it!

Nappy rash is horrible and prevention is definately better than cure. This is a fantastic article with some great tips. Especially the changing of the nappy frequently. Unfortunately sometimes especially once they’re on solids and their poops get yucky a little nappy rash can be unavoidable in which case a small amount of sudocreme clears it up quickly.
We found that changing nappies frequently was key for us. And once the kids starting sleeping for long periods at night, we started using the really good quality nappies – Huggies, as it happens – while cheaper nappies were still okay for the day and frequent changes. Nappies do vary! .
This is a really great reminder that nappy rash can happen but there are some great tips to help try and avoid it. I use to do a lot of nappy free time with my daughter when we were home as she had sensitive skin and I layered the barrier cream on all the time, especially at night.
