The Oates Space Saver Dustpan is such a great cleaning tool. It is easy to store and so very easy to use. The quality of the rubber strip is so good. It helps with pickup of dust right into the pan in one stroke. I am super happy with it. I do know it’s on the expensive side as compared to the $1 dustpans, but this is like a one time investment. It is great quality, thick and durable. Highly recommended. Go for it.

This Oates dustpan is seriously the best one I have tried. The strip at the bottom actually gets the dirt into the dustpan instead of underneath it. It makes it so much easier to sweep up dirt. Being an Oates brand you also know its great quality and wont break within the first couple of uses. I will never buy any other dust pan again.

I don’t often use dustpans, I am more of a mop and vacuum cleaner girl however it has really helped when I can’t just vacuum a mess or if the kids have spilt something I don’t want to damage the vacuum with.
It’s sturdy and durable and you can even use it when all of the kids are in bed without the risk of waking the little tornadoes

Yes I love this dustpan and so does my son. It’s great that he actually gets excited to clean up the mess he has made. It’s chunky enough for him to use but not too heavy that he can’t hold. I have only ever owned a $1 cheap dustpan and broom set because I figured they were all the same but wow I was wrong!
I was so impressed by this, dare I say I actually had fun sweeping with it!
It’s solid and sturdy, and the dustpan stops dirt from being swept underneath it.
It has a section where you can clean the broom and it has a rubber piece in the middle of the bristles which helps trap the dirt too.
The kids loved having a turn with it too.

Living in a place with limited storage, this little gem fits perfectly in our household! The freestanding design makes it easy to store away. Its great quality and the pan itself is sturdy and with the high edges, debris stay inside the pan easily .

WOW… This Oates Space Saver Dustpan is really great. I do like the feature of it being able to stand upright by itself. Great for small spaces. The high edges of the pan allows you to sweep and carry more stuff, without it falling out.
The rubber edge works so much better then my current hard plastic pan, with getting the ALL the small dirt into the pan with ease.
Overall a great product. Makes cleaning floors more enjoyable, if I do say so myself. Would recommend getting this to anyone looking for a Dustpan Set.

We have all had those dustpans that never seem to pick up every little piece of dirt off the floor, after trying to sweep it up continuously but don’t have the time to battle your dustpan so you try to pick up all the little pieces with your hands, this becomes hazardous when it is required to pick up items such as broken glass, etc. Well not any more, I found a savior in the Oates Space Saver Dustpan, after an incredible sweep with the triple action flat mop, I was able to pick up everything off the tiles with this dustpan, there was not a single piece of mess left. the deep sides of the dustpan ensure the mess will not fall out and the bristle of the brush are firm yet flexible enough to ensure the capture of even the smallest dust bunny. I have since thrown out my old unbranded dustpan and use the Oates Space Saver Dustpan. For its efficiency, easy grip and great value, I recommend this product to others as well as the greatest possibly to repurchase this item.

I can’t tell you how long we have been using our dodgy kmart dustpan for. It was refreshing to use a dustpan that actually held the dust instead of spreading it back across the floor. This is a good quality product that actually does that job. I would to buy again.

This dustpan i found that it didnt sit flush to the floor properly near the sides.
I found that it can only clean really small amounts where as my other dust pan has a bigger bump to stop dirt from falling out when i sweep more into it.
I found the handle slifhtly uncomfortable to hold when the brush isnt sitting in it.
The sides are high which means you can stand it up but it makes it more bulky so not much of a space saver for me and the teeth along the edge to clean the brush bristles is a good design.
I thought the brush was well designed.
I liked that it had a scraper at the end to scrape the muck stuck to the floor. I like the rubber tongue in the bristles to help sweep up the really small dirt.
All in all the brush is well designed but but the dustpan needs tweeking.
I wouldnt recommend until the pan is fixed.

A dustpan is really useful when you have kids because they make a lot of mess and you want the cleaning process to be nice, quick and easy.
So this dustpan is definitely a lot bigger than all of the other dustpans I have ever used so that’s good when the mess is really big. There are less sweeps and dumps which is great because that means I am not bending down and getting up, bending down and getting up more times.
It is also shaped where it’s easy to handle and use.

This was a huge win for my house.
With a mix of wooden floors, tiles and carpet, this worked on all surfaces.
The brush clips into the pan solidly and doesn’t fall out like other brands.
The teeth on the side make it easy to ‘clean’ the brush between uses.
The pan itself is deep enough that a slight tilt will not empty the contents.
I also love that the handle has a hole in it so it can be hung and save even more space.
A winner for sure!

I have used so many brands of dust pans that i have lost count of them!
When I saw this product, I knew it will ease my job of collecting the mess after sweeping the floor. It has rubbery edge that makes it more durable and brush has rubbery partition thing placed between bristles that makes it sturdy and won’t just say after few uses. I highly recommend this product

Well big mess cut short, flour incident as the ad shows happened at my place! Pulled the major items out of the mess and then got down and gathered the mess in tight.
The silicon ridge in the brush assisted piling the mess together. The brainwave however lays in the silicon edge of the pan. It moulded to the floor surface not allowing any less to escape under the lip of the pan.
After use the whole set just slips neatly into the bottom of my pantry for easy access next time.
The only thing more this lazy mumma could ask is for a longer standing height handle or someone else to do the cleaning.

I sweep up after my two year old a lot so I used this dustpan and brush quite a few times daily.
I think the design of the brush is good and it’s easy to store and looks good but I find the dustpan design a bit awkward.

The Oates Space Saver Dustpan Set is extremely quick to use! Making tackling the 1001 little messes that occur through the day a breeze to clean up!! It stores away upright extremely discretely and it is just one of the most useful little things I’ve got at home, I absolutely love it and highly recommend it especially if you want something efficient which doesn’t take up much space!!

Freestanding feature interferes with products ability to work effectively
Unfortunately the Oates Space saver Dustpan Set was not something I would recommend. Firstly for me personally I like to hang my dustpan and broom and this one is much bigger than the one I currently own so is not a space saver for me. I can appreciate how the stand up feature would be helpful if you wanted to keep it on a shelf. The Freestanding feature works because the dustpan has high sides at the front however this makes sweeping the dust into the pan a little difficult as the broom kept hitting the high sides making it awkward to use efficiently. Overall the Freestanding feature interferes with the products ability to do its job properly.

Yes indeed this Oates space saver dustpan is good and indeed it has great features but for me it lacks one. I am a senior and have back issues and bending down to sweep up messes is not an option for me. It’s back to the Oates Ezy Reach Dustpan for me. This space saver dustpan is wonderful for children as they are shorter in statue and young energetic adults but sadly not me.

As a Mum of two the dust pan and hand broom is a must have, as not a meal goes by where its not needed. So, I was so excited to try to Oates Space Saver set and I was not disappointed.
The design of the dust pan is different to my current one and is far superior. The high curved sides means that as you sweep into it the debris goes in easily and with the rubber edge it’s staying there.
The pan is sturdy and great quality and the bristles on the broom are firm and wide enough to get the job done.
The hole in the top of the set means hanging it on my cleaning rack was no issue and I am able to grab it as needed.
Highly recommend this cleaning marvel.

Wow, I didn’t thing dustpan and brushes could be so different. This one is great that you can stand it up easily or also hang it. The curved design of the dustpan means that it catches the dirt that usually gets flung over the back from a little too much power on the brush! The brush is great too, easily catching hairs. Great for toddler crumbs too. Highly recommend the Oates Space Saver dustpan and brush.

I would call this dust pan and brush the highest quality and top of the line. It’s handle is long to easily grasp, it’s got a good grip which is also comfortable on your hands. The brush does a fantastic job at sweeping every little thing into the pan, there is no residue left over. It catches everything! The pan is longer than others I have used. I also love the white and blue colour. It literally is the best dustpan and brush. Thanks Oates, I’m converted!
