As far as electric toothbrushes go, the Philips Sonicare HealthyWhite is a good brushing experience. I do find moisture inside the handle area. I’m thinking that this will limit the life of the product over time. The handle is not completely tight. I have my old Sonicare which worked for many years but I did clean it most days.

I was given one of the Philips Sonicare HealthyWhite toothbrushes as a Christmas present by my father. At the time, I wasn’t that impressed. I thought it was a boring present.
However, after using it, I can understand why he was raving about it and why he bought me one for Christmas! After you use it and feel your teeth with your tongue, it really does feel like you have been to the Dentist for a check up and clean! It’s amazing.
I have no doubt that my teeth as cleaner now than they have ever been! Using this toothbrush has improved my dental hygiene and I would recommend it to everyone!

Teeth so clean my dentist only wants to see us once a year!
We’ve had electric toothbrushes for years, but since purchasing the Philips SonicCare 2 years ago I’ve loved the clean feeling it gives and my dentist noticed the difference too. It is quiet and smooth to use and the battery lasts a long time on one charge. Mine is 2 years old now and still recharge (and hold charge) reliably.
The only thing I don’t like is how expensive the replacement heads are, and they rarely come on sale

After 30+ years of use of a manual toothbrush, being able to try the Phillips Sonicare has given me the opportunity to see how clean and healthy my teeth look after using it. Really great product, perfect introduction to an electric toothbrush for any beginners. The instructions are concise and the brush timer remind you to move at an even pace so as to cover all areas of the teeth and gums.
From having a dental clean just prior to beginning using this product it has certainly maintained visibly clean and healthy gums and teeth. I’d still like to see a curved shaft to aid reaching the inner teeth/gum line without rattling other teeth. Would definitely recommend it(already have) to others.

Last review here but had to sum up the experience. I had my dentist check my shades again and I have gone up 1 shade in the time of the review but considering I am now a 2 I’m rather happy with that result! Going to continue using this toothbrush but honestly don’t expect the 2 shade lift to a 1 as that may be too much of an ask! Overall a brilliant toothbrush and we will be buying a seperate one for the kids!

It took some getting used to the vibrations that would stay around after I finished brushing. I can already see a difference in the colour of my teeth which is great as well. My gums and teeth have never really felt this clean and healthy before and my kids have even noticed.

Pack Smart, Not Big

Get Safety Sorted Before The Fun Starts
It’s pretty hard to get the kids’ attention once you’re at the beach or pool, so the safety talk should really start at home. Our mums recommend chatting to the kids about:
Swimming between the flags at the beach
Setting a meeting spot in case anyone gets separated
Sunscreen: Always apply sunscreen 20 minutes before heading outdoors. And set alarms to reapply every two hours throughout the day. Reapply immediately after swimming or using a towel.

I pre-chop carrots, cucumber, apples, boiled egg, in a handy separating container, a packet of chips, dip, and bring water bottles. You don’t need a military-style plan to enjoy a sunny day out. A beach trolley, some prep, and an easy sunscreen like SmartMist™ are enough to help things run calmly – or at least calm-ish!

My biggest tip is to be very clear who’s watching the kids, especially when they’re in the water. Like, actually verbally hand over and make sure it’s acknowledged if you’re going somewhere (like to the bathroom). That can definitely save lives, but also save panics about lost kids in crowded spaces.
Some really good tips here! I had no idea about the talcum powder hack – who would have known! That is amazing and I will definitely try it next time we go to the beach! It is definitely worthwhile getting things ready the night before though, especially if you want to leave before midnight lol.
