So it was pizza night tonight. I was way too tired from work, so I didn't cook. Rather I just bought 2 apcks of sale kits.. one Greek salad and the other roasted pumpkin. My son loved have the two salads as his main.. haha. Yeah he preferred the salads over pizza. He enjoyed it and so I think this will be a perfect combination from now on . Recommend trying.

The Greek salad is my fav out of the whole lot of woolies salads. I like the Greek salad mainly because of the dressing. The taste is just great. I have tried this several time when I used to go the office. Would grab it around lunch time and just have a quick mix to have an awesome and healthy lunch ready. I simply love the Greek salad kit from Woolies. The salads are so fresh and so easy to make. The salad is very tasty with a delicious dressing. The salads from Woolies are reasonably priced and the quality is just great. They don't last long in the shop..lol grab them quick. The quantity is adequate for one person but you can always increase the quantity by adding more stuff. Recommend trying.

These are such an amazing concept for working families. I wasn't on the review panel but after reading reviews and seeing Nikki's ideas for recipes and just how easy it was to make a meal, I got the greek salad kit and some lamb from woolies. it wasn't quite 10 mins but I'd knocked up dinner in 15, very little mess, super healthy and I didn't have to think, which as a busy working mum, is an absolute godsend as it's one of my biggest stress points during the working week. I just put the creamy pasta salad in yesterday's online order so looking forward to checking that out when it arrives!

The Salad kit was delicious and a healthy option on those "don't want to cook nights". I think for the price it could have been a bit larger size and I did find it hard to actually get in stock of the Greek salad kit at my local woollies but I would definitely buy again and recommend.

The Greek salad was really good. The cucumbers were crunchy and fresh and the whole salad was delicious and refreshing. The dressing was a bit tangy but complimented the salad well. My partner and I both enjoyed it and will definitely be purchasing this one again and we will be trying the different flavours.

These salads have saved my sanity of the Christmas break. I was able to find these salads easily at my local Woolworths deli. All 5 salads were available at my Woolworths in regional country Vic. The salads were at the kids eyeline, they got excited that they could see the salads, everything bright coloured and so appealing. We chose Spanish Style Pasta Salad Kit to start with as a side dish and they loved it. Everything was so easy to throw together in the container, my 12 year old enjoyed making it. There was just the right amount for our large family of 9. There was the right amount of chorizo, making it not too spicy for the kids to eat. I liked that the basil was shredded making it not too overpowering, a good balance when mixed with the pasta.
Since it was a huge hit, we went back the next day to get another, choosing Greek Salad Kit. Gave it to my 14 year old to make while cooking the barbecue. She found it so easy to mix together, again in the container. Once again, it was fantastic! Everything so fresh and tasted great. All the kids loved it, even my fussy inlaws thought it was great! Since I'm not a fan of olives, I was able to mix everything else, dish myself up some and then mix the olive through! The perfect amount of dressing that it didn't make the salad go soggy. The cherry tomatoes were ripe and delicious!
Finally we chose to have the Creamy Chicken Pasta Salad for lunch and it was great! Huge pieces of chicken and the caramelised red onion chutney was delicious. Hubby thought it would be great in a wrap! I really enjoyed the roasted garlic dressing!
Overall, I was extremely impressed with the quality and the ability to mix the salads anywhere. Great value for money and generous serving sizes. They were prefect for a barbecue and everyone enjoyed it. My kids were actually excited to have salads again. everything was in the right proportions, that there wasn't too much of something and we were able to remove things we didn't want or like. Extremely convenient. Hubby said he would love to try them for work lunches if they were in single serves.

The WW Greek Salad Kit is great. It is presented well with the olives, fetta cubes and sliced red onion included in separate compartments in the top section. Underneath I discovered the cucumber and ripe cherry tomatoes with a sachet of Greek salad dressing. Too much cucumber and the flavour of the olives somewhat diminishes what could be a great salad. Improved tasting kalamata olives as well as some capsicum would be a welcome addition.

I was very impressed with this salad kit (although I would have preferred less cucumber and some green peppers in it). It was well packaged and sealed well to keep in the freshness.
Greek salad is very versatile and goes with so many meals, which is why I picked this particular kit to try. I added green peppers and served with Flame roasted sweet honey mustard ham and crusty bread.
(As a side note, I actually find that unless there is a lot of volume with a salad, it is better served on a plate or platter to ensure all ingredients are coated with the dressing, rather than the dressing just sitting in the bottom of the bowl.)
Taste wise, everything was crisp, crunchy and fresh, and the dressing was plentiful and tangy.
Overall, I enjoyed this salad kit. The price isn’t too bad considering what you would pay for a Greek salad if out and about, and it wasn’t packed out with tons of leaves – some green peppers and more Feta and it would be great value!

Whilst I do love the Woolworths salad kits, I prefer the Greek salad kits made by Coles. I feel the Coles ones are better value. The Woolworths kits are all in the same plastic box whereas the Coles brand have a plastic tray with partitions to segregate the olives from the feta etc. Overall, the Coles
salads are my preferred option in this instance.

These salads are probably a little pricey for what they actually are. The one I tried was 90% cucumber and not a lot of other ingredients. It was really yummy still, but I think they're expensive for what they are.

I bought a Woolworths Classic Greek Salad Kit after reading some very positive reviews. I often like a salad for lunch whereas hubby is not really a salad person so buying one of these salad kits works perfectly for me. One of my favourite salads is a Classic Greek and I find the mix of fetta, olives, tomatoes and cucumber along with the lettuce in these kits is just right and the tanginess of the dressing is amazing. I've had a few kits now and they have always been fresh and crisp. I admit it's not the most economical way of buying a salad but for the convenience it suits me.

so disappointed with this Greek Salad - The lettuce is limp and the rest - the salad is in oversized large chunks just to fill the box quicker. For the price - really not worth it.
Easy to make a fresh salad yourself instead of buying this box - if you have the time. Will taste a lot better and cheaper in the long run.

While I don't have anything bad to say about the quality, taste or the convenience aspect; a greek salad is one of the easiest salads to prepare and without all the unnecessary plastics! I get it convenience is a big thing especially when balancing kids, social and work life but we should be instilling these environmentally conscious efforts into our kids because they're going to be the ones to inherit the earth we leave them. Not trying to shame anyone but if you're desperate and need a greek salad ASAP this does the trick!

We were skeptical at first, wondering why you’d buy a ready-made Greek salad as it’s one of the easiest salads to make. Lamb backstrap was on the menu and we were keen to give the Woolworths Greek salad a go. The vegetables and cheese were fresh (yummy crunchy cucumber!) and very easy to assemble. We liked the tanginess of the dressing - nothing worse than a subtle dressing! The addition of grilled halloumi rounded out our Greek themed dinner. Delicious!

The dressing satchel that is added to the salad kits is off perfect portions that you can add only the amount that you personally require to your taste. On the shelf these kits seem like a great product you don't have to buy the ingredients go home wash and chop the ingredients. It's also a reasonable Price so is a great alternative for those of us who are time poor and still want to eat healthy. However after opening my salad I found the ingredients were incredibly hard and dry even after adding the tiny tub of dressing. I would not recommend serving these as a side dish but more a crispy stir fry or salad. Personally we won't buy again and are going to stick to the old fashioned way wash and chop.

The taste was good. The contents of the salad kit was also fine. The portion size could have been bigger especially for the cost. If you were getting this for four people I found it a bit small. You would be better off buying the ingredients separately as it would cost about the same price and you would get a salad about three times the size

7 Simple Ideas That’ll Save You Hours Every School Week
If every school week is more like an episode of Survivor at your place, don’t worry, you’re not alone! The struggle to stay on top of the school week mayhem is real – so we’ve put together a bunch of clever ideas to give you back some precious time (and sanity).
There’s nothing difficult about these tips, just solid advice and ideas from a mum who’s been in the school trenches for over a decade.
1. Teach The Kids To Make Some Simple Breakfasts

Hang on, this is about breakfast, why are we showing you a picture of mouth-watering cookies?! These are Four Ingredient Healthy Breakfast Cookies – perfect for a prep-ahead school day brekkie!
Depending on their age there are so many safe and easy breakfasts kids can make themselves. From toasties, to yoghurt pots prepped the night before or just cereal. Not having to make breakfast for everyone will literally save you hours every week!
2. Lay Out Clothes For The Week
Use a hanging organiser or labelled baskets for each day. Include uniforms, socks and undies. Kids can dress themselves without the drama of missing items. I’ll be honest, my kids’ uniforms are expensive, so I wash during the week as they only have a couple of sets. However, if nothing else, having just socks and underwear sorted for the week is an absolute lifesaver!
The other huge help is not having to pre-treat stains on my kids’ uniforms, nobody has time for that during the week! My extra tip here is to use a great quality laundry detergent that is powerful enough to remove stains in-wash, so you don’t need to worry about pre-treating. 4. Plan A Weekly School Admin Session
Answer school emails, sign permission forms, top up canteen accounts and check term calendars in one go instead of daily interruptions. You may only need to do this fortnightly or monthly, but just make sure you schedule it in your calendar. Trust me, it saves so much time compared to juggling things bit by bit!
5. Quick-Fire Cleaning Sessions
Set a timer for ten minutes in the afternoon, pop on some music and everyone tidies their zone. This includes the kids emptying their lunchboxes, washing their drink bottles, handing you any notes and putting their clothes in the wash. Small bursts like this stop the house turning into chaos by Friday.
6. Have A Snack Station
Keep a drawer or fridge shelf filled with ready portions. Kids can pack their own snacks for school, and also grab something to eat when they get home. Think ahead and include them in the weekly shopping – ask them what snacks they would like (and cross your fingers they’ll still like them all week!).
7. Set Up A Family Charging Station
One spot for iPads, laptops and phones. No searching for chargers or discovering a dead laptop ten minutes before school! Make sure each child puts their school device on charge when they get home, as part of their Quick-Fire Cleaning Session.

There are some great ideas here! I just use an old school paper calender but its so helpful to remember all the important dates – i always buy a family planner one so theres columns for each of us to write what were doing om certain days so we never run out of space! I need a snack station, but struggle to have healthy (or healthier) choices in the cupboard apart from the usual chips, rice crackers and museli bars!
There are some good hints here! I already do have a little snack station in my pantry – a large container filled with all sorts of bars, etc. It’s the first place the kids look for something to eat. I do like the idea of a charging station but I don’t think it would work in my house. Everyone seems to like charging things in their room and it could look messy with multiple cords.
The struggle is real so I’m loving these hints. I especially like the idea of getting the kids involved in preparing their own lunches and snacks and offering a variety of options that will hopefully encourage them to make healthy choices now and into the future.

I love this article. I can relate to a lot of these ideas. For instance, I have a snack shelf in my pantry so my kids can choose and pack their own snacks. No more asking them what they want. We also have a family charging station in the kitchen. iPads, laptops and phones are only allowed to be charged on the kitchen bench. I love the healthy cookies. I must give these a go. The family calendar system is a must too!
I totally agree with most of these. We bought some inexpensive cereal dispensers, and that made mornings much easier. And school admin? For me, that is every Wednesday right before a regular appointment. It fitted in perfectly, I never overlooked anything, and if I didn’t need it it was a glorious burst of free time.
I love this article and the tips and already follow many of them. I have always been a big fan of schedules and planners and they simply make sense and make sure everyone in the family is on task. I also love snack stations; one for the fridge and one for the pantry; again it makes sense and makes preparing food and lunchboxes and snack times easy.

PERFECT! LOVED IT!
Since it was a huge hit, we went back the next day to get another, choosing Greek Salad Kit. Gave it to my 14 year old to make while cooking the barbecue. She found it so easy to mix together, again in the container. Once again, it was fantastic! Everything so fresh and tasted great. All the kids loved it, even my fussy inlaws thought it was great! Since I'm not a fan of olives, I was able to mix everything else, dish myself up some and then mix the olive through! The perfect amount of dressing that it didn't make the salad go soggy. The cherry tomatoes were ripe and delicious!
Finally we chose to have the Creamy Chicken Pasta Salad for lunch and it was great! Huge pieces of chicken and the caramelised red onion chutney was delicious. Hubby thought it would be great in a wrap! I really enjoyed the roasted garlic dressing!
Overall, I was extremely impressed with the quality and the ability to mix the salads anywhere. Great value for money and generous serving sizes. They were prefect for a barbecue and everyone enjoyed it. My kids were actually excited to have salads again. everything was in the right proportions, that there wasn't too much of something and we were able to remove things we didn't want or like. Extremely convenient. Hubby said he would love to try them for work lunches if they were in single serves.

Fresh and filling!
Greek salad is very versatile and goes with so many meals, which is why I picked this particular kit to try. I added green peppers and served with Flame roasted sweet honey mustard ham and crusty bread.
(As a side note, I actually find that unless there is a lot of volume with a salad, it is better served on a plate or platter to ensure all ingredients are coated with the dressing, rather than the dressing just sitting in the bottom of the bowl.)
Taste wise, everything was crisp, crunchy and fresh, and the dressing was plentiful and tangy.
Overall, I enjoyed this salad kit. The price isn’t too bad considering what you would pay for a Greek salad if out and about, and it wasn’t packed out with tons of leaves – some green peppers and more Feta and it would be great value!

Easy to make a fresh salad yourself instead of buying this box - if you have the time. Will taste a lot better and cheaper in the long run.
Sorry but would not buy this again and do not recommend anyone to buy - just not worth the month for a limp day old salad +
