KitKat icecream is now a thing! Peters have partnered with Nestlé to produce the much-loved chocolate bar in ice cream form.
The ice cream consists of a creamy wafer-flavoured centre that is set in a chocolate coating with crushed wafer pieces.
The frozen Kit Kat stick is available in the ice cream aisle in a multipack at Coles, Woolworths and independent grocery stores across the country for $8.50.
Individual Kit Kat ice creams are also available in convenience store freezers nationally for $3.80.
‘We are excited to bring a delicious twist on our iconic favourite, Kit Kat, and make a break into the ice cream freezer,’ Anna Stewart, Nestlé Head of Marketing Confectionery, said.
‘Chocolate and ice cream lovers across Australia can now enjoy a well-deserved and chilled break with the Kit Kat Stick.’
Emma-Jane Collins, Director of Marketing, Category & Innovation at Peters Ice Cream, said she hopes the product attracts both ice cream lovers as well as chocolate fans.
‘The Kit Kat brand is hugely popular here in Australia with a proven track record of successful new flavour innovations, so we’re thrilled to be working with the Nestlé team to introduce Kit Kat to the ice cream freezer,’ she said.
