Well it’s may 2014. Just walked out of the dr,s he said it’s osteoporosis its in both hips and knees. And I need new hips bugger me at 53. He can do them together .. Okay let’s do this .. Book in for the 23 rd of June sydney private hospital..
Hubby comes home I am telling him my news. As we live in Greenacre near Bankstown..
The area has got very bad over the last few years ..
Peter looks glum ,, hey not your hips mine .. No he says my job is gone .. What. ,my job is gone,,,
I have been transferred to Campbeltown ,, wow
Peter does not drive ,neither do I . We have never owned a car. .
We both have driven and did not like it…
Okay so what this mean .
He said I have to walk to Wily Park to catch the night rider bus to get to work on time . So I need to leave home at 2.30 am to start work at 5.30 am. I said that is bullshit .. No way .
I said let’s move .. What I said let’s move .. I am not having you walking and killing your self it’s not fair .. But he said what about what you do. .. I said my bowls I can commute .. It’s easier for me to do that twice a week..
So we put our place up for rent. And we went to rent at campbeltown..
Omg some place where pig pens ,how can people live like that ..
One place I went to look at the smell hit you before you got through the door. . And a baby in a dirty nappy . The mother sitting there smoking.. I want to ask would you like me to change and bath the child for you . Must of been about 1 not walking but sitting up and the nappy was loaded as we say ..
I said to the agent your wasting my time .. I called into a place at Campbelltown and told them what I wanted .
And they said they where showing apartment tomorrow . I asked what the difference .
Apartment has securities no one can get in unless they let you in..
Camera,s watch everything , a lift to all floors and car park. Storage in your parking area . A dishwasher air con cloths dryer.. Okay ? Well I seen this apartment and fell I. Love . Took lots of photos to show Peter as he was at work… We applied. And got knocked back .. So we applied for another and got excepted ..
We book the truck I packed. And I down sized three bedrooms and a double garage going into a two bedroom no gardens no lawns. I got rid of half our stuff and not missing any of it ..
I went into hospital not know but then I had to go to rehab for 16 days but i,m moving .. Well my husband had to do it . So some phone calls and guess what. It happen. . I left my old home went into hospital home to a new home..
Peter said to me what about bowls I said I got a transfer. I have resign all my positions .. I want a new start
I have since joined Campbeltown ladies and it’s beautiful I love it .
I do hydro. And excise class when I get off my butt to get there ..
No real friends yet but enjoying Peter,s company more and more .
I love the shops. And everyone speaks English is a bonus ..
Everyone is nice
People said why do you want to go out to Bogan Ville. Well let me tell you I love my new home I love my shops I love the area we should of done it years ago . Yes we will sell and buy out here . I love campbeltown
