Babies first day of daycare - Real Mum story on MoM

Today was my bubs first day of daycare, there were no tears from my little trooper. I certainly had my fair share. While I struggled through the day looking forward to seeing her little smiley face, she was just fine. I never realised how social she is with hardly any babies around her. I also never realised how hard it would be to leave her. I have enjoyed being with her full time for 7 months which was a big challenge. The only way I can continue on my first week back at work is looking forward to my four days off with my little girl. It’s going to be an all new challenge that I can’t wait to embark on. Positivity is my new goal.

This was posted some time ago, so I’m sure you’re well into the swing of things now, but I remember my son’s first day of daycare. It was horrendous! I think I sat in the car and cried for 20 minutes. My advise to other mums is to organise something to keep your mind busy that day.
