Does anyone else get so completely wrapped up in organising their children’s birthdays?! For me it’s like an obsession… I realised this after my husband not so subtly told me I had been nonstop talking about my child’s upcoming 2nd birthday for the last 6 months… Oops :/

I never had grand birthdays as a child so for me, giving my daughter that opportunity is a privilege. Don’t get me wrong, she’s not spoilt rotten and the birthdays are actually very simple, but I put in a lot of effort to the small touches…

We do a lot of kids birthday every year and I sit there trying to work out if those parents have also spent the last 6 months planning every miniscule details, and where did she buy this adorable goody bags!!!!

Haha! I am just shopping for my daughters birthday right now!!! (6 at the end of august) in my defence- we live remote and it takes a month for parcels to get to us) lol just ordered little vials for the 6 girls to make fairy dust to put into them

I’m guilty of planning my daughters birthdays a year in advance. Hubby refuses to talk to me about till a few weeks out as he thinks its crazy. I think it is really caring though that we want to make our children’s birthdays memorable and fun we spend a lot of time planning all the details. I’m currently thinking of a lalaloopsy party for my daughters 4th Birthday.
