Centerlink Luck - Real Mum story on MoM

I hadn’t been into a Centerlink Office since I was 18 ( over 10 years ago) and so I asked my friend if it had changed much or not? When I used to go, there were times when I had to wait for 4 hours!! She said it was still the same…This particular day, I had another appointment to go to but I had over an hour and half before I had to be there. I thought I would risk my chance and thought if it takes too long I will just have to come back. I walked in, waited in line for about 3 minutes before talking to someone. They took my papers, copied what they needed and said that was it! I could not believe my luck, I was in and out of Centerlink in 5 minutes!
To top off my great day with appointments, my following appointment was at the docs (who also have the long waiting times) only lasted 5 minutes! Receptionist said I should buy a scratchie but I didn’t want to push my luck too far!

Sometimes if you are lucky somebody will direct you to a computer and tell you how to what you need to send the details via it.

That certainly was your lucky day! I have found that the quicker things are sorted in the office or over the phone with Centrelink, the more long term problems I have. They its all done, only for it to not be or for it to be done wrong

Goodness me how lucky!!! I’ve always had to wait crazy amounts of time in both! You should definitely look at buying yourself a scratchie!
