So I know that you can go to Campbell’s Cash & Carry if you are a sole trader, but I’m looking at what other places could make everyday grocery buying cheaper. My partner holds and ABN and we are trying to save, save, save, due to work slowing down majorly, I know some things can be cheaper or dearer and Campbell’s, but is there other places you can shop at if you’re a sole trader?

  • Costco is good if you need to buy bulk. I personally can’t use that much stuff at home so don’t go very often.. Usually I’ll just go buy from Aldi.

  • Thank you all so much, is Costco worth the money? I’m really unsure, I want to as I want to find the cheapest way to cook bulk and freeze food and buy nappies and possibly formula.. What is the recommendations over say aldis or Coles?

  • Maybe you could ask stores if they offer discounts.

  • It might be also worthwhile to get onto some forums for small traders as they may have some other useful contacts?

  • I think the membership for a Business member is either very marginally cheaper or around the same cost as a regular member for Costco. My membership is around $60 per year. Yes, you can save $$ on things but to make up the cost of the annual membership you do have to go a number of times during the year.

    • Can’t wait for Aldi to come to town.

  • I would imagine you could shop at Costco as a business operator. Maybe look into it?

    • At Costco you can be a regular member or a business member.
