Hello!

Christmas Eve is here and I have been up for hours getting the house clean and ready for Christmas Day. It is easier to clean the house when everybody is in bed asleep. Time for feet up and a cuppa!

  • i took a few weeks in the lead up to christmas, to sort everything out. i de-cluttered and donated tonnes of stuff! i was ruthless with it and now my house is great! cleaning up after chrissie now lol.

  • Why not . As long as you don’t make too much noise I think that’s fine as long as you feel comfy doing that . I am quite flexible myself so clean as I go generally but we only have 4 in the family so not too much hassles .

  • my husband doesnt get why i stay up at night to clean the house when the kids and he are asleep, i like it that way at least it will be clean a least for a day. Then I do it all again the next day its a never ending job. But someone has to do it. Merry Christmas to all.

  • I made the kids do a toy pick up. They did a pretty good job.

  • My toddler is driving me bananas while I try and clean… he’s having a nap now and I’m having a sneaky cuppa (and browsing MOMs) before I get stuck into the next task. Merry Christmas!

    • Yay! for the ‘sneaky’ cuppa! They are good for you! :)

  • Totally agree that cleaning and organising is better child free. Have a well earned rest and enjoy everything that Christmas brings!

    • It sure does – always makes it easier! Hope you have a good rest too! Merry Christmas!
