Does anyone else 2yr old have terrible tantrums?

atm my 2yr old will have terrible tantrums. we will go out and he will want to go for a walk around the other way in the shops, you continue going the same way and he will loose it. scream so loud and punch and kick. he is well diciplind (a smack here and there) and if he gets too out of control back to the car. any suggestions on what to do. im a fifo mum and have to do food shopping by myself but i use that day to do other things that need to be done.

They ain’t called the terrible twos for nothing… take a deep breath, you are doing the right thing, they do grow out of it!
