I have a friend (Ive known for 22 years) who is REALLY hard to buy for and her birthday is right near Christmas. She is a shopaholic who just buys whatever she wants whenever she wants. I wrack my brains trying to work out what to get her for her birthday to only then need to do the same for Christmas. This year I have decided that the one thing I can give her is my time and effort. So, I spent 2.5 hours making her a Shortbread star Christmas tree. I got the kit from Kmart for $5. Im quite proud of how it turned out and I think she will be grateful that its not a random ‘thing’ that she has to find a spot for in her already over flowing house.
