Hello!

So after a pretty horendous start to the year, with my husband not having a job, my kids falling ill and spending lots of $$$ medication, doctors, specialists its finally all coming to an end, or so i hope. He finally got a job, ok its not the job he wanted but its pretty good, as he gets his own car, his own phone and own laptop all paid for by the company. We are going to start renovations on our house, which includes 2 bathrooms, a laundry and and toilet and I’m getting a new bedroom suite. It just seems like its all working out and I’m really grateful to the universe, god, angels whatever everyone believes. I’m really excited at all the good things that are starting to happen. We also just decided to plan a trip to Europe, Its not till next year but its just so exciting to plan this with my family. I really treasure my family, and even though the kids can be so frustrating at times, I want to experience the best of everything with them and I’m going to be finally able to do these things with them.

So i guess, What i’m trying to say to all mums out there, even though there are tough times ahead for some always look at the light at the end of the tunnel because all those tough times will come to an end and there will be some pretty good times ahead.

can’t wait to write my story about my upcoming renovations!

  • Tough times don’t last, tough people do. I went through something similar to you, and a friend recommended that I start a “Gratitude Journal”. I was sceptical, but I thought I’d give it a go. Every night, I write down things that happened that day that I am grateful for, and things/people in my life that I’m also grateful for. It’s been the best tonic for me, as writing it down has shown me how much I have in my life that I’m lucky to have. Sometimes, especially when things are tough, we forget about the good parts of our lives.

    • I really like your friends suggestion of a gratitude journal.

  • just make sure you enjoy your children while they are young as they grow up so fast and you will be left wondering where all the years went

  • Thanks for sharing STEPHANIE_WOZNIAK. I had a few financial/health scares myself over the last few months – seem trivial but anything financial is always extremely stressful and eventually effects the whole family. We just have to remember, it always turns around and things settle down again. Anyone going through a similar patch can holod onto ope from your story.
