Hello!

Well, it’s just after midnight, and all through the house, not a creature as stirring not even a mouse.

The kids are quiet, tucked up in bed, while I sit on the lounge, filled with dread.

My Daughter decided the nappies were out, no ifs, buts or maybes, not even a doubt!

So we read a book, and tucked her in tight, kissed her forehead and turned off the light.

I am so proud, of my baby girl. She made her own choice, and gave it a whirl.

Just checked up on her, and all is dry. I was worried, but God knows why!

Determined and strong, she is all over it. She’ll wake up dry, in her usual wit!

  • What a good girl . I would still put a mattress cover ( plastic/pvc is better ) in case of accidents as it happened a lot with my kids. They said they even dreamed of going to the toilet which I remembered as a child as well. To this day , still don’t know why that happens …..

  • My daughter was the same. I’d just had my second bub, and my eldest decided that was it – nappies were for babies, and she went cold turkey without a night nappy! She had been toilet trained for almost a year, so it was probably time anyway, but funny how they just decide to do something!
