Hello!

So, I just hit myself in the head with a dustpan brush. A new achievement even for me. Let’s face it, I was never the most coordinated person but this pregnancy has made me hit a new level of clumsy. I’ve been overweight in a previous life, but having this basketball of concrete strapped to my middle 24 hours a day has changed everything. Trying to maintain a level of professionalism at work is hard, once I had discovered I had soup down my front. And I mean on the underneath side of my belly button. Who does that? How I did that is beyond me – the soup would have had to defy gravity to get up and under there! I can’t tell you how many times my belly was itchy around the middle of the day. I thought my skin must have been dry or I was going mad. One time I felt a big lump on my belly and I thought I developed a skin tag or wart overnight – only to find parts of breakfast lodged in my shirt. My Dr said it’s all because my ‘centre of gravity is out’. I’m not sure if that explains the 10cm scratch on my back from walking into a doorway. Yep, it happens. To me anyway.

  • Definetly gets worth with pregnancy. I was so clumsy toward the end of all of my pregnancies.

  • I had a crazy stack when pregnant with my 4th, tripped in a shopping centre car park, took all the skin off my knees and elbows.

  • I am so uncoordinated, was so much worse when I was pregnant and had really bad baby brain, my boss (male) thought it was pretty funny.
