Hello!

I had to take my 14 month old to the dentist yesterday for the first time – a little prematurely i will admit, as he had a fall the other day and bumped his front teeth. Whilst i didn’t think there was anything major wrong, i had so many people telling me that they thought his front teeth were pushed up that i thought i better take him to the dentist just to be sure. Least to say it was a traumatic experience for my son, who really did not like a stranger looking in his mouth at all!! But 30 seconds (and $60 later) the dentist confirmed that everything looked good and hopefully there is no major damage (hopefully the tooth doesn’t go brown in the distant future which will mean it has died with the possibility that it might become infected). It’s nice to have peace of mind (and as i said to my husband i would have paid any amount just to know everything was ok!!) I am so nervous now, i almost feel i have to follow my son around to protect his head because he just seems to fall and bump his head and mouth all the time!! Scary! Hopefully we wont need to visit the dentist again in the near future.
