I just wanted to share something I learned recently about fruit and vegetable colours and what they are for as I found it very interesting.

Green leafy vegetables i.e. spinach, lettuce, peas – good for eyesight and green ie broccoli, cabbage good for reducing risk of cancer.

Dark Orange ie carrots, pumpkin and mango have powerful antioxidants and can reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer

Yellow Orange i.e. oranges lemons helps good vision, teeth, bones and skin. also powerful antioxidants.

Red i.e. tomatoes, strawberries etc Helps control high blood pressure and has powerful antioxidants and reduces risk of caner, diabetes and Alzheimer’s.

Blue i.e. blueberries, black grapes, raisins, plums – Powerful antioxidants reduces risk of cancer, heart disease diabetes and age related amnesia.

white i.e. garlic, leek, onions helps lower high blood pressure and high cholesterol. reduces risks of heart attacks and cancer.
