Oh you poor thing I didn’t have my gall bladder removed, but I did suffer severe constipation after having my appendix taken out. Talk to your Dr, I’m sure they can suggest something they will help

I haven’t, but I wonder if it could be in my future because my grandmother had hers out, just in the nick of time because it was almost at the point where it could have caused her serious blood poinsoning. My mother has also had trouble with hers. Apparently the pain from a gall stone attack is excruciating and immobilising, so you have my sympathy. I’m lead to believe that certain foods for different people cause problems, maybe a very gentle laxative may help, but I would speak to the pharmacist as you wouldn’t want anything that was too spasmodic if you are in pain.   Thankyou very for your response. Things are starting to feel better now all except for one of the incisions. It has become infected & I’m now on Anti-biotic capsules to hopefully heal the infection.

No, but you have my sympathy.

Hope you feel better soon. I have not had my gall bladder removed but maybe check with your doctor if you can take something for the constipation.
