Hi case girl,

I know exactly how you feel! When I gave birth to my twin girls in July, I couldn’t produce any milk, the nurses were horrible to me! They said everyone can do it you just aren’t trying hard enough! I was trying to feed them but they weren’t getting anything, I tried to expressing, but all I got was blood. It was the most horrible feeling ever. I was so upset and felt like a failure, I saw lactation specialists as well and was offered medication to bring the milk in, but was warned that I could develop side effects such as depression, as soon as I hear that I thought its just not worth it. I decided to go exclusively to formula, m girls are thriving and I have not looked back. If I ever have anymore kids, I will try to breast feed but if it doesn’t work I am not going to feel like a failure again. Everyone is different!
