Poor hubby, he has to live in a household of girls! He’s pretty good at dealing with most of our girlie passions but there are two things he really dislikes. Glitter and hundreds and thousands! He really detests them. Whenever he sees we’re decorating cup cakes he runs the other way and if we’re having a craft day he won’t come out until it’s all over. I think it might have something to do with how all these little bits seem to stick around….

I have a big aversion to glitter. You find bits of it around for weeks after the last time it was used by the 8 y.o.. Weeks later I found it on my baby’s face near her eye. Obviously there was a tiny spot of it on the carpet and he had put his head down in it when he rolled over Despite sweeping and washing the floor I am still finding some. Sometimes I spot it when the sun is shining through the window onto the floor.

I can understand his aversion to hundreds and thousands, but glitter? I love it.
