GOTTA LOVE MUM! - Real Mum story on MoM

Mum will shoot me for posting this for thousands of women to read but it’s just too funny not to share!

My gorgeous mum works in a sandwich bar and finished for the day. Walked to her car with a few bags, and then proceeded to open the boot to pop her bags in there. Unfortunately, she then closed the boot with her keys inside. She immediately panicked and didn’t have roadside assistance. Luckily for her, the sandwich shop was in an industrial area so she went next door and asked one of the big, burly blokes to assist.

She had the car open luckily so the man who assisted her worked out how to fold down the back seats of the car and with some trouble, wormed his way into the boot to reach for the keys. The process took about 20 minutes. He was bright red and sweating but proud of his effort and mum was extremely grateful.

At dinner that evening, she was telling my dad all about the drama! He was speechless and looked at her dumbfounded before hysterically laughing. When she questioned him on ‘what was so funny?’ he just looked at her and said “why didn’t you just use the boot release”. OMG MUM! Haha…

LOL, classic. My mum has actually locked the keys in the boot of my car when she was borrowing it, however she had actually locked the car before doing so….I had to leave work to rescue her with my set of keys.

That is a funny story, but the whole time i was reading it i never though of pressing boot release.
