I think it’s a good idea to keep learning. The only thing that puts me off is the cost of education and no guarantee that you’ll find a job afterwards. I guess everyone’s situation is different, and maybe for you it is worth enrolling in something and not worrying about the debt yet. But I’m not so sure that being older is going to make starting out easier. It probably depends on the jobs where you are, or what you can do remotely. I’ve enjoyed a few free courses on websites like ‘coursera’ where you can select courses from various institutions to get a feel for topics. Perhaps this is a starting point and stepping stone to something more. I like the companies that give you internships and then allow you to study the skills they want at the same time; because at least you have a job after!
