I so can not wait for the holidays. Does anyone else find themselves hanging for the holidays as much as their kids?

I love it when the kids are on holidays there is no morning rush to get them to town for school and back to work with my two year old rush home and do more work from home and some domestic duties and then back to town for sports and training and all the rest race home to cook dinner and home work to do it all again. None of that just able to take a breath for two weeks apart from shopping trips to town ant the fun day out, it it just chilling at home with the kids. I just love it and this next week could not come and go fast enough!

I often her mother saying how they can not wait for holidays to finish so the kids can go back to school, like everything else with me I seem to be a bit strange compared to other mothers. I Love having my kids home!

(not so much the fights though)

  • I am torn for holidays, my bubs is too young for school, so holidays means all our weekly activities are cancelled, libraries, music, kindergym, but on the flip side my mum is a school teacher, so thee is a lot of Grandma time. Still I have to say I love school terms and all the activities we can do, I think my view may flip as soon as bubs goes to school.

  • Oh I agree ^^
We aren’t at school age either so no activities over the holidays… Cabin fever time!

  • NO NO NO!!!! We are not yet school age, so holidays means all our weekly activities like playgroup and swimming shut down, and I can’t afford to take her to movies and zoos and other pay for things, so by the end of the holidays we are both sick to death of the playgrounds and parks! And if it is raining it is really awful!
