Hitting and kids - Real Mum story on MoM

I am at my wits end as to what to do with my 3 yr old son. He keeps hitting his sister and both my husband and I. We have tried everything I have seen ie naughty spot, taking toys but nothing works. I have even resorted to giving him smacks on his hand so he knows the feeling. Now I need help as at the moment its just us but I don’t want him to go to daycare and hurt anyone else. Any suggestions ladies ?

The experts say to ignore bad behaviour and reward good behaviour, but I am unsure as to how you can do this. Maybe ignore him when he does it and spend some time with your daughter. Not letting him participate, explain why, it might hit home

Maybe try and ignore him every time he decides to do something naughty and go and play with your daughter while he just sits there and watches
