i miss my cousin - Real Mum story on MoM

so i lost my cousin 3 years ago on the 27th of august,
he was my best friend, my everything. he was the most important person in my life.
he died when i was 8 weeks pregnant with my daughter so he found out before he died, but it hurts that he never got to meet her…
and now im around 6 weeks pregnant with my second and i cant even talk to him and tell him. it hurts so much

i turned 21 last year, and i couldnt enjoy my birthday. i couldnt work out why, until recently. my cousin died at the age of 20, 10 days before his 21st, and he was always older than me, it wasnt fair that i reached 21 but he didnt =(

sorry i just had to get it off my chest.

Hopefully members of your family have some photos the can be put in an album you cal all look at from time to time. Sometimes being able to visit a deceased person’s “resting place” can bring you some peace if you are able to do that. It can take a long, long time to recover from the tragic death of a relative or friend at such a young age

I’m so sorry. I know it hurts, and it probably always will. But it should get easier to handle, with time.
