Ouch! I remember getting a boil on my face once, not much fun!

Thanks for asking your question as I too get them but on a few areas.
I will also look at getting them checked out next time.

Poor thing! I suggest follow ups with specialists as GP’s do not have all of the answers. It may need further investigation and treatment.

If you havnt already id talk to your dr & get yourself onto strong antibiotics eg. Dioxicillian (not sure of spelling) for prob 3 mths & then you might have a chance of stopping them. Also a good diet of fresh veggies. Good luck.

    Im a healthy eater too with fruit and veges

I have the same issue but not just on the one body part. No idea why i get them.

  Ive found out theres a common skin disease which is heredity called acne inversa. Im going to get some genetic testing done to find out if its that

    The boils are not only on one part of my body. Ive got another one today in my cluster of boils.

Have you had the books tested when they appear. Maybe visit a GP and tell him they have been persistent over a 12 month period. Hopefully they can lance it and take a sample to send to pathology. Worthwhile getting it checked to see if there is a specific type of bacteria, because sometimes that bacteria can return over a period of time, especially to similar regionalised areas, and you may be able to get a specific type of antibiotic to eradicate it and help stop them from reappearing.

  You are right. I got a swab done and the dr tested it to see if it was the right antibiotic. Lucky it was. I am going back again to get more testing done as these are very painful
