If only everyone could be nice! - Real Mum story on MoM

Always having had trouble with people being fake since I was young, I am so unsure if people are fake or not anymore. I thought I had finely made a new friend recently that was not like this and then just the other day after asking me to become facebook friends I found that she had put up a comment that was obviously about me as it was only that day that we were talking about the same thing.

I just don’t understand people why every body has to be so mean to people. Now we are finding the same problem with my daughters at school we have raised them to be nice to everyone and since they have started school it appears to be back fireing and we have recently had to teach our girls to toughen up to be able to handle the cruel world that we live in not only as adults but as young school children.

It is a very sad world we live in now, we have to teach our kids to lookafter them self.

I was so nice when I was younger, but felt people took advantage of me and walked all over me, I was told to toughen up, I still try to be nice to people but you don’t get much back in return, not even a smile. My kids had it had at school aswell with other kids treating them badly, we had to tell them to toughen up aswell. People just don’t seem to be so friendly anymore, it is very sad,
