our four year Old gOt his four year old immunisation yesterday at the local health centre. He was really brave and we thought he would get real upset. The first injection was ok it did not sting him much. The second one hurt abit so he cried a little bit. Then he said to the nurse. You hurt me. After that he said you made me bleed. The nurse felt so bad she gave him a balloon, stickers, and a book about immunisation catered for little ones to understand. Then on the way out he got bubbles to blow in the surgery as he had to stay for 15 minutes. During that time in the surgery waiting there was an older couple sitting there. The four year old started blowing bubbles to the fella and he started catching them. It was so good to see. The fella said to his wife he use to blow bubbles when he was younger. Then the four year old gave the container to the fella. He started blowing bubbles too. His wife had to rescue the bubble container from spilling but he did it. The interaction between the two was marvellous. Its great to see. The four year old forgot about his immunisation and made a friend. Time to go home.

  • That’s a beautiful story. Thank you for sharing. My toddler loves to interact with older people in the shopping centre. You can see how much joy it brings them

    • Happy interaction between the generations is a beautiful thing to watch.

      • There should be more interactions but with safety these days its got to be in a safe environment
