I have been suffering for so long now, took many months of pushing doctors for answers to finally be diagnosed correctly, what a weight off my shoulders, especially when I’m struggling with weight, anxiety and depression also, I have 3 beautiful children who unfortunately cop a lot of my stress and anger when I’m in so much pain, but so lucky to have them understand mummies going to get better soon off for surgery in November and a great husband that finally understands now we have answers, I just saw a great naturopath who is also helping me with this battle and will then help with my weight battle also, I’m now at my biggest I’ve ever been and I’m so unhappy and feel so fat, but there is now a light at the end of the tunnel, please if you feel your not getting answers keep pushing like I have, we should never just put up with it. My gyno couldn’t believe that I have fallen pregnant 3 times with such severe endometriosis and on the pill with all my kids, I do say I’m very blessed.

  • My sister in law had to have a hysterectomy her endometriosis was so bad. She was only in her early 20s so she and my brother never got to have children

  • Forty years ago I was suffering from endometriosis & after a miscarriage my Dr did a D&C & I fell pregnant soon after, & continued to have the D&C’s for each planned pregnancy there after. I had 3 healthy boys but 10 years after I had to have a hysterectomy as the endo growth started to spread outside my uterus. I hated living with the discomfort, but I was also so very blessed that I was able to have my family & actually enjoyed my pregnancies with no pain. My weight has always been a hassle, but I’m thankful I’m happy & active & pain free.

  • Having an answer would help to some extent, even before treatment. God luck!

  • I am so very sorry that you are suffering with this.
    I am thinking of you.
    Good luck with the surgery.

    • Thanks so much, seeing results already really makes a difference.

      • I hope your surgery went well. It is terrible that it took so long for them to diagnose the problem. I would have expected them to diagnose it when they did the D & C.
