Like a of families that have lost loved ones I sturggle during the holidays with missing my father who past 30 years ago this year. I try to look at the positive side of having my family with me but I cant stop thinking about my dad and all he is missing. How do you get through the holidays without loosing your mind?

  • Your dad is watching over you, give him a good show!

  • Im sorry you are hurting but i think its good that you remember him so fondly. Maybe you could have a small memorial ocassionly so that other family members can remember all the good times with you. Just a thought xx

  • To help with the passing of a loved one I buy an angel that sits on my shelf on year long to help me remember they are still with me and for christmas I put a special ornament on the tree so I know that they are experiencing the christmas joy with family and friends. The only difference is when we are stressing over when se see family and how to make time for everyone our loved ones are watching over everyone.
