I had a most wonderful Mother’s Day today. The family and extended family met at a Picnic Ground Forest Reserve to let the little ones ride their bikes in the picnic area. The older Dad’s took their bikes out onto the trail bike rides. We packed our small Webber and simple BBQ food and enjoyed the bush and fresh air so much. Other Mums and Dads and small children had similar ideas, and we felt comfortable sharing with them and their little ones. It’s the simple things in life that are always the most pleasurable. So it was an outing that suited all ages as well a great time to just relax with some white wine and natter. Rained a little, though the picnic shelters were all there and didn’t bother us at all.
I’d be interested to know what others did on their special day.
