Mums joy.....not - Real Mum story on MoM

i am really struggling at the moment. I have 2 children, a son and a daughter.
My son is fine, going great guns. He has a full time job he loves, a partner of 6 years, engaged for one. They’ve set up a home together and their first baby is due next March. My struggle here is……they live in another state. Ice looked forward to being a grandmother for so long now, it’s e citing to be finally happening. But I’ll be a part time Nan, 2 visits a year if I’m lucky :,( This saddens me greatly. At the moment, the joy is over riding the sadness. But once hub is here, I think that will change.
What to do???

Visiting will be difficult, neither of us are financially well off. Phone, letters, Internet just aren’t the Sam :,(

Congratulations – lovely news. There will be holidays and long visits and there is always the internet, mail and telephone. There are so many ways to be connected. Enjoy this new role.
