sports carnival - Real Mum story on MoM

Hello!

My son in year 3; sprained his ankle while I was a way on a work conference. Some how no one realized he was walking on a sprained ankle the nanny put ice on it when it happened but didn’t take him to the doctor . Even with a sprained foot he came 7 th last I’m so angry at my nanny but I wasn’t Home I don’t know everything

She in her 40s, and yes has a first aid cet has worked for department of children services. it happened a few days before sports day

It was a bit of an oversight on the nannies behalf. You would like to think that while you are away that your child’s health is receiving the best possible attention. Did she realise that she had the authority to take him to the dr? Also does she have a first aid certificate? If not it might be worthwhile getting one.

Depending on the age of you nanny if she is young she did what thought was best maybe make a list but put on it any time of injury no matter how small must be checked by a doctor and if he was in a sports carnival than why did not any of the people in charge notice this and sit your child out
