My daughter and I - Real Mum story on MoM

Last night my husband and I went to our daughters house for tea and while tea was cooking we were talking and someone had asked a question and at the same time my daughter and I said the exact same thing and laughed the same way which in turned cracked my husband up and her boyfriend also and all I could think of was my daughter has turned out just like me, the cats in cradle song came to my head and I could only smile. I’m so proud of her she is so strong as she has been told by her real dad she’s nothing to him and his new partners daughter is his daughter now ( I left an abusive relationship and as my daughter(and one son) was old enough to know of what was going on she wanted to stay with me and her real father hates her for that) and she is struggling to fall pregnant after 2 miscarriages and when I told her I was proud of her, all she said to me was I learnt that from the best and that is from you mum my role model and best friend awww and yes I cried…. She has such a beautiful nature. I love her to bits xx

  Thank you very much, I feel privledge that I have these times with my daughter/children and I don’t take them for granted as you don’t know what’s around the corner, I have already lost one of my beautiful children and that puts life into perspective.

How gorgeous. I recently spent time with my husband’s extended relatives and it cracked me up the similarities in humour and facial expressions. You have done so well to be an example to her!

  It is funny and a great time too. Sounds like you both had an awesome time. Yeah we look similar and my mum and mother-in-law say we both sound the same on the phone they have to ask which one they are speaking to hahaha.

  Thank you and I love every moment I get to spend with them all. We have had our struggles and still have lots to deal with but we have so much love and friendship to help us through all of it. Xx

  Thank you so very much and now I’m trying to install the same love trust and everything like I did with my daughter to my stepdaughter who I love the same as my children (as far as I’m concerned she is mine to), they are both awesome. Love them both so much and same with my three awesome sons. We do what we can with what we have.
