Hello!

OMG, what a completly horrible thing for you to go through!! I had a little one in Neo Natal too in 2008 with failure to thrive. Luckily the hole in her heart was picked up at 6 weeks so we were able to monitor it from then and she has completly recovered without the need for heart surgery.

You must have been devastated and feeling so helpless in your situation, and I sincerly hope you reported the peadiatrician to the Australian Medical Board. Even if he disagreed with what you were saying, he still had a duty of care to your child, his patient to pull his damn finger out and resolve the problem. Glad to hear your wee one has recovered and is doing so well!!

  • Way too many bad/sad stories on here about wrong decisions made by members of the medical profession. We trust them so much, yet sone just don’t seem to care what they say or do or what effect it has on you!
