I had a miscarriage at 17 weeks, 35 years ago & at the time I wasn’t given the chance to ask questions let alone see the baby. I was given an anaesthetic, had a D & C & sent home. While I went on to have 3 healthy babies I often wished I got to see & hold my baby, & have a precious photo to be able to remember my bub. I know the sadness that many families have gone through but thanks to wonderful people like Heartfelt the photographers take tasteful & beautiful images of these precious little angels so that the parents will have memories forever.

I’m sorry that happened to you. Miscarriages can be emotionally painful even if future pregnancies are successful. Did you ever seek counselling for your grief?

  It wasn’t suggested to me at the time & I was told to put it behind me by my doctor. I often wondered what my bub may have looked like as the images I’ve seen of other bubs at 17 weeks are clearly fully formed even though they are so tiny. I’m just so glad that parents today are given choices & these wonderful people like Heartfelt help with others loss.

I’m sorry for your loss.
When I had a still born baby 23 years ago, the hospital took photos with and old Polaroid camera. Which I was very greatful for

  Precious images of our little angels certainly would have help the grieving process.
