I was told at 16 i more then likely would never be able to have children. Because of being told this i developed a hard edge and decided i was never getting married or having children…yeah right! At 30 years old i met my soul mate at church and were friends for quite some time before he finally asked me out! 3 months into our relationship he asked me to marry him and 6 months later we were married. 2 weeks before oir wedding i discovered God had blessed me with a child. I had a great pregnancy but had to move house at 20 weeks pregnant after my husband ended up in a psych ward. I was now my husbands fulltime carer. On Feb 9th 2011 we welcomed our beautiful little girl into the world via c-section! Life was tough for a while being a new mum and carer. Life eventually settled down and around the age of 18 months i was told me daughter was delayed in several areas. After lots of appointments and several more house moves my daughter was diagnosed Autistic. She is now 3 1/2 and we are settled in a small town. I am now fulltime carer for both hubby and my girl and despite all the changes and the fact we still have some ups and downs i would not have my life any other way. I feel incredibly blessed to have a husband who loves me unconditionally and a daughter that despite her lack of verbal communication shows me in her own way how much she loves me! My faith in God has truelly helped me get to the place i am now and i am happy with life!!
