Hi everyone. This is my first post and I’m little nervous (is anyone going to read this?). Currently on maternity leave and enjoying motherhood! My beautiful (very biased) almost 6month old son is remarkable. He’s my second born. As much one would think I would have experience in this I feel at times unsure of what I’m doing. This is one of the reasons I’ve joined. I’ve read a real stories that have open my mind to sharing my stories,
experiences, and also ask for advice for myself and learn to become a better mum to my boys. I’m excited to read more, try out a few arts and facts and maybe post something useful to help other mums. And who knows this may seem a little corny but make a few new friends with common motherly interests. That’d be nice and different. So I’m rambling. Sharing this feel good moment with you all.

I agree, I like this community also.
I joined while I was trying to get pregnant, then went through a miscarriage and am now onto a (so far) successful pregnancy at which I am 18 weeks and have always come to this site to ask questions, see others’ stories & know that whatever happens, I am not alone in anything that I do.
Thanks to MOM for creating & continuing such a wonderful forum on which to meet others!

Pls keep us updated and it might sound a little strange but if there is anything I can help with your journey (even if its just a simple hi how are you) I’m sure you know as well I do, we’ll all be there!

Welcome Sandra, I feel it does not matter how many children we have we can always learn something new. Even when we have 1 or 10 every child is different and posses a different problem or experience. This site is super and allows one to seek advice without being judged and also has many wonderful recipes, tips, and activities to name a few. Enjoy your time with your children and hope to read posts from you in the future and all my best wishes to you.

I love this website to i have 4 children but still things happen that i think oh am i doing the right thing and will pop on here and check out some of the old questions and answers.
I think no matter how old or how experienced you think you are you always need a place where you can ask for help without getting judged

Welcome I love this website it’s got some great stuff. I also feel the same way sometimes – our youngest is 5 months and you’d think by now I’d have it sorted and know what I’m doing but sometimes it’s like I’ve never had a child before!
